"We had a wonderful time at the Reeder Lake house. Heidi left easy instructions and was responsive when we had questions. The house was clean, roomy, and had a lot of towels and linens. We had so much fun at the lake canoeing, kayaking, and water biking. Location was perfect-close enough to town and fishing and yet quiet and away from the hustle and bustle. Fish processing with the hosts was so convenient! We’d definitely stay here again!"

Mary's cabin was just right for the two of us and our elderly Lab, Luna. The full kitchen was great for making our own meals, and Luna was happy to see a handful of biscuits waiting in a dish on the counter for her when she walked in. "My wife and I wanted a true Alaskan experience as we fished the surrounding rivers for a few days. Wow! This delightful log home gives you the feel of being in the wilderness yet still a short drive in to the surrounding towns. We had a very comfortable room with a shared bath. But the best part of this stay was our host. Becky is a delightful lady who opens her home and makes you feel like family. Her breakfasts are truly gourmet. Highly recommend."

"When we arrived the property seemed older than we thought from pictures and the inside is dated. However, the inside is very personalized by the owner and is very unique and was quite comfortable. If you think about visiting a remote cabin in Alaska, this is it. If you want a modern home with newer amenities this is not the place. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would consider it again. I do wish they had a better freezer situation for fish but with 7 of us fishing it still worked out...

"The beds were uncomfortable and felt worn. The water tasted like rusted metal pipes. They did not have a mini fridge, microwave or even a single cup coffee maker. They listed it have tv but only had 2 channels. The room had lots of bugs not bed bugs but insects."
