Handy to Karratha Shopping Centre and Integrity bus stop as we were utilising public transport for our visit along the west coast. Sadly this hotel is tired and needs a good makeover or knocking down and re-building. The adjacent ‘Sports bar’ is non-existent and likely long been closed due to more modern hotels charging comparable prices in the neighbourhood. The bistro was very lightly patronised for a school holiday period and with limited menu options. The price of $264 a night is Melbourne CBD price. Value of our room should be $70 a night as the place is backpacker at best. Staff were happy and helpful but I felt sorry for them as their product they were selling was so poor. What lets it down is the price charged for a run down facility. The rooms in their current state are only worth $120 not the close to $200 per night.
