Picture yourself after a long day of exploring the mountain, to be eager to come home and slip into the relaxing heat of your private sauna or during summer time to combine it with a dive in your mountain pool (shared). Nestled in the forest at 3000 ft elevation, this luxury property offers stunning views of the mountains and alpine valley of "Potamia". The grounds at this vacation rental also feature a terrace, a lovely alfresco dining set and adjacent barbeque facilities. Your reservation includes coffee and tea variety, juice, cake, cookies and firewood during the winter months.  
  
Perched between old forgotten mountain trails where local Greeks used to travel hiding from Byzantines and Ottoman Turks, still a short walk from the 1836 stone built settlement and a short drive from Karpenisi center, Mythica Chalet pairs unparalleled access and serene elegance. Its convenient location along with the exquisite mountain architecture of local stone and 500 year old Western Red Cedar logs, make the property a prime destination.  
  
 Inside you will find a television, washer/dryer, sauna and Wi-Fi. The living room houses a big stone fireplace, where you can enjoy a good book and even better glass of wine in the comfortable couch and armchairs. From there, you will find a fully equipped kitchen with a hand-built breakfast bar, where you can prepare and enjoy your breakfast or meal.   
  
Two elegant bedrooms with one shared bathroom, can accommodate strictly 4 adults and 2 children up to 8 years old. One of the bedrooms features a queen sized bed, closet and a separate fireplace. The second bedroom provides one queen size enclosed bed, closet, a leather sofa-bed and a flat TV with Xbox and entertainment center. Fine linens and accoutrements help ensure splendid nights of rest amid the quiet sounds of the mountain.  
  
No matter what season, Karpenisi delivers. Warmer months bring opportunities for nature walks, horseback riding, rafting and kayaking, while the winter season delivers some of the best skiing and snowboarding conditions around.
