This wonderful lakefront home is the perfect escape into the serenity & beauty of Caddo Lake. It is conveniently located on Pine Island Pond, a quiet inlet off the main river and home to some of the best fishing and kayaking on the lake, 2 miles from Big Pines Lodge, Caddo Lake State Park, and Uncertain. It is a short 20 minute drive from both Marshall and historic Jefferson, TX to enjoy antiquing, historical homes, and abundant restaurants. Our wonderful property offers an incredible screened in porch with amazing views, and a quiet and peaceful atmosphere that will make guests feel right at home. With 1 king bed (with soaking tub!), 2 queen beds, and 1 set of bunk beds, there is plenty of space for everyone to relax and unwind. For your convenience, we can offer the use of our freight elevator for luggage as well as those in need of mobility assistance, pending a signed release form. This house also features a private boat ramp and dock for your boat, as well as a lakefront fire pit perfect for roasting marshmallows after a long day enjoying the lake. The kitchen is fully outfitted with anything you could possibly need, as well as a charcoal grill downstairs. The house was spotless and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing getaway. The view of Lake Caddo is absolutely breathtaking—there’s nothing like waking up and enjoying a cup of coffee on the lovely screened-in porch. We also loved the little dock, which was perfect for some peaceful fishing.The boat launch was super convenient for putting in our kayaks, and we had so much fun on the water. Plus, being so close to Big Pines Lodge made it easy to enjoy a delicious dinner just a short drive away. We also had a great time walking around the historic town of Jefferson.This trip was such a treat for the family, and we’ll definitely be planning another stay here in the future. My parents had fun with the really tall swing. It is by the lake and made for some fun pictures. The location of the house is very convenient to the boat tour we went on just a 10 minute drive. We also went in to Jefferson which is about 20 minutes away. The host was very helpful with info about the area and recommended several restaurants.
