If we weren't already booked somewhere else further south i would have happily continued my whole stay in New Zealand there.It was super easy checking in and folder of surrounding activities was fabulously helpful to fill a day we hadnt decided on yet. From our calm hideaway we easily day tripped to Rotorua’s geothermal hot springs, Waitomo cave, and Hobbiton (be sure to book months ahead).As we sit on blue porch chairs, background sounds include sheep baahing, bird calls, sometimes the wind soughs. The sun sets and the house looks down and over a beautiful valley where the hills glow. ##### Dennis B. Rosanna and Nathan are incredibly sweet and so obviously love their home and all that’s on it. The cottage was clean and well kept with plenty of space for sleeping. We loved picking apples for the ponies so our daughter could greet them good morning. The sheep, naturally, kept their distance from us, but we got to see them when we went to find the big oak tree with the rope swings near the sheep paddock. The cows had a lot to say and absolutely made our toddler’s day to hear all different sorts of mooing. We would stay here again! ##### Ally D.
