Even though there were many mishaps, such as 1) the air conditioning did not work for 24 hours upon our arrival, 2) the same day the motor went out on the refrigerator,Not cooling to proper temp.so we had to eat the poki that we bought from Costco that night 3) the sensor for the overflow in the washing machine malfunctioned so we had to call Beach villa reality again to complain and 4) the exhaust fan in the second bathroom was fixed and then worked occasionally. The staff at the facilities where helpful and accommodating. They checked on us to ensure that everything was working smoothly. Although, the Property Management Company,Beach Villa Reality mainly, the owner Mr.M disappointedly told us to look for another place to stay because of all the issues,if we weren't happy. This trip was planned many months in advance for someone to say such a thing. Sadly, as many times as we've visited Hawaii, this was the first time I've felt not welcomed and exhausted. The non smoking rules are not enforced as we occasionally would smell smoke while trying to enjoy the lanai. Once everything was finally fixed, overall stay was wonderful, we made best of things given the circumstances.This was the worst Aloha feeling from this company and of all the places that we have rented in the 25 plus years coming to Hawaii. Last but not least the furniture needs major updating and cleaning. this property is great but not the management company. Mahalo.
