Can sleep 6 with queen size Aerobed (included). Full size washer and dryer in unit. \*\*Air Conditioning installed in all rooms\*\*. Lae Nani is by far the nicest condominium community on Papaloa Road, which runs from the north side of the Wailua River to the Coconut Marketplace shopping center. It is a gated private property located on the east side of Kaua’i, on the Coconut Coast. Centrally located on Kaua’i, you are within easy reach of all the wonderful sites and activities on the beautiful Garden Isle. twenty-minute drive from the Lihue Airport, ten-minute drive to the award winning Wailua municipal Golf Course and midway between Poipu and Hanalei/Princeville. Grocery stores, shops, and several fantastic restaurants are within walking distance. Unique to Lae Nani are beautiful curated gardens, and a beautiful white sand beach. There is also, a Keiki (children’s) Pond (a three-sided black lava rock breakwater) which creates a protected pool that is shallower, warmer and calmer than the surrounding ocean – perfect for the young ones. The ocean and lovely large heated pool are just steps away from the unit across the beautifully landscaped grounds. There is a tennis court on the property. The furnishings are a relaxed, tropical Hawaiian style. The second floor location offers you an expansive view of pool, ocean and grounds. Also, the two bedroom/two bath layout works perfectly for either one or two couples. The master bedroom has a lanai (balcony) and faces the ocean, so you can't get any closer to the sound or view of the ocean. There is also a large lanai off the living room with chaise lounge, chairs and table. You can enjoy the relaxed atmosphere by breakfasting on either of the two private lanais and watching the ocean, exotic birds, beautifully landscaped grounds or relaxing with a glass of wine at sunset. Watch the sunrise over the ocean with a fresh cup of Kaua’i coffee. Then later, sip your favorite ice-cold beverage from one of the lanais after an incredible day at the beach. The unit can be configured as two master suites, each with private bathroom. We provide free wireless high-speed internet and a television in the living room. There is a blue tooth sound system, so you can play music through your smart phone either wirelessly or through aux cable provided. We have keyless entry into the unit, so you don't need to worry about losing a key. Parking is free and secured. The kitchen features brand new quartz countertops, cabinets and appliances. There is a four-burner glass top range, large stainless-steel refrigerator, dishwasher and a built-in microwave. We have all the pans and kitchen supplies to cook a gourmet meal. There is a full-size washer and dryer together with iron and ironing board for your use in the unit. We welcome families, providing lots of games. There is a large grassy area right out front and the beach is only about 75 feet away, There is a heated pool for use by all Lae Nani guests and we have a closet with beach gear, beach chairs and boogie boards that you are welcome to use. The Coconut Marketplace is an easy walk away and has many shops that cater to tourists. Kapa'a town is about a mile north of Lae Nani with bicycle, snorkel and beach gear rental, grocery stores (Safeway and Foodland), drug stores, banks, restaurants and farmer's markets. Rent bikes in town and take them onto the new bike path that begins in Kapa\`a town and winds north along the ocean for many miles. Walk to nearby Farmers Market at Coconut Marketplace every Tuesday and Thursday morning to buy organic locally grown freshly picked tropical fruits and produce, flowers, and drink fresh coconut juice. There are also countless activities on site or nearby, from playing tennis at our very own court, to snorkeling, surfing, fishing, or hiking. For the golfer in the family, one of the most beautiful public golf courses in Hawaii, Wailua Golf Course, is just down the street. And for the outdoors person, there is kayaking the Wailua River and hiking to the beautiful Opaekaa Falls. The condo was very nice, located on a perfect beach. Dining and shopping were in walking distance. The condo was well furnished, and we had everything we needed including beach towels and beach chairs. My family absolutely loved our home away from home. Walking distance to fresh market and cute boutiques. We were able to venture out and see both the north and south shores in less than a 20 minute drive. The last few days relaxing at the pool and beach was a great time. Definitely will stay here again. The condo was well stocked with items need for the beach and for cooking, as well as sleeping comfortably. We loved walking to the coconut marketplace and everything was so convenient and a pretty easy drive to our adventures we planned for the week. We would absolutely stay here again. What a gem!! Our family of five with kids ages 14,12 and 9 loved everything about this trip. This condo was in the perfect location to explore the island. We also loved that there were some great food and shopping spots within walking distance. The beach was amazing and the whole property and condo were just beautiful. Pool was so close I could have thrown a tennis ball in it. The beach was just beyond, I would have needed a great arm to throw that one. Perfect beach for little kids and new swimmers; as there is a safe swimming hole protected by a rock barrier that gets fresh water at high tide..the beds were super comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked to cook anything. The view from our balconies was my favorite and I spent every morning enjoying it. Kids loved swimming and and such close beach access! Just right there. Central location to go south for Poipu beach and lots of restaurants to choose fr nearby. Just the perfect place. We were 5 people so we utilized the aero beds which were easy. The apartment was very clean, well maintained, and well stocked. There was a beautiful pool and ocean view from the lanais, which feature lounge chairs. The pool is large and clean. The ocean is sometimes swimmable, sometimes not, depending on the currents, so do be careful. But there is a nice man-made tidepool that is great for swimming in. The interior is tastefully decorated and spacious enough to comfortably host our larger family (staying in other units) for gatherings. Having 2 bedrooms was ideal for managing a child and a baby. It is surprisingly well stocked, both for the kitchen and the pool and beach. We only wish we knew all that was available ahead of time so we could have avoided bringing things that were already there (e.g. travel crib), Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would stay here again in a heartbeat. ##### Ron O. The Lae Nani condominiums are located in our favorite part of the Island (Kapaa/Wailua area), and this unit is an especially nice one. In particular, the furnishings are very tastefully done, the kitchen is fully equipped, and the beds are comfortable. Two features that are special with this unit are that it has an in-unit washer/dryer (with many units, you have to use the group laundromat facilities) and the unit has AC in in both bedrooms as well as the living room. Although AC is not really needed/useful for 90% of the time, it is a great option to have when needed.We have also found the owner/manager of the unit, Ken Wachtel, very responsive and helpful. The unit is very nicely furnished and both full bathrooms spacious & nicely appointed. The kitchen is fully stocked with all you need for cooking and the outside grill area was recently updated and has three grills and staging area which worked well for cooking fresh fish. Another big plus is the AC unit for the master bedroom and living room; much of the time not needed, but nice to have when you do. The owner (Ken) was very helpful and responsive, and left comprehensive instructions about the condo.
