Having the Coconut Marketplace to walk to was awesome too! The unit was well stocked with kitchen supplies so we made coffee and breakfast each morning and ate on the lanai with a gorgeous view of the ocean. It was a bit cloudy in the mornings, so we missed the sunrises, but the sunsets & moon rises more than made up for it. Having the use of the beach chairs and umbrella was fabulous, thank you! Kids enjoyed the very clean and well maintained pool. Wifi was good if needed for work etc. It could use new and better fans for more circulation as I had to take the existing ones apart to clean. Overall a nice spot for a few days. We visited Lava Lava multiple times as it had decent food and amazing views and vibe. The check-in process was simple. The views absolutely amazing. The sliders where amazing to be able to see the whole outside while sitting inside. The condo was clean, had everything we needed while we stayed. The pool guy was there daily cleaning the pool to make sure it was in tip top shape. The lawn people stopped by to talk to us to make sure we knew they were there and to try to minimize disturbing us (super thoughtful). There is no air in the unit, but there are plenty of fans throughout the unit to help with air flow. We enjoyed having the sliders open and hearing the waves. We had a small issue with the faucet in the bathroom. We called and they were right on it. They needed to do a repair and they worked on it while we were not there to make sure to not inconvenience us. There were plenty of extra items in the condo to use (coolers, beach bag, snorkel gear, golf clubs, etc) to help us have everything we needed. Communication was great with the property manager so we always knew what to expect. If we come back, I would love to stay here again. Loved being able to fully open the big front windows for the breeze. Also loved watching turtles swimming right below the condo yard. And please don’t take away the chickens, they are fun to watch. The pool was great. Did fine with no A/C even though some of family was worried at first. Thanks to owners as well for having beach chairs and towels! Overall definitely a 5 star, for location, comfort, look of condo. Gave a 4 only for sewage smell in back bathroom but we smelled this out on the street too so maybe a ventilation issue. Thank you to all for a great stay on the island. Visit the lighthouse in the north for the birds and nests. This was an unexpected highlight. We also loved the rock pool at Lydgate beach. Tons of places to eat right nearby. We liked the bakery across the street and Bobby V Italian down the street . The kitchen is fully stocked with everything if you want to cook. It's convenient having a washer and dryer in the unit. James and Bryson keep the pool and grounds spotless and are fun to talk to. The view is gorgeous. We were up every morning to watch the beautiful sunrise and had a leisurely swim and happy hour every evening on the lanai before going to dinner. We took advantage of the beach chairs and cooler to have a picnic at Kokee State Park. There is also snorkeling gear among other things if you want to recreate. One great reason to stay here is that the property is so quiet yet you can walk 5 to 10 minutes and eat at some excellent restaurants - Hukeilau Lanai and the Lava Lava Club. Paradise Bakery is across the street, and we walked to Coconut Marketplace in a few minutes. It is also centrally located so that you can go to either end of the island in 45 minutes/an hour if you want to take an excursion along the Napali coast or enjoy an afternoon at Hanalei Bay. Another great reason is the property manager, Cindy, is awesome. She is quickly responsive if you have questions, and she gave us the name of a concierge which offered some wonderful suggestions. Lastly, who doesn't like going to sleep listening to the ocean waves? We would stay here again in a heartbeat! As other reviews have stated, the view is just wonderful. Took a picture every morning as we didn't miss a single sunrise. The condo is modern, clean and spacious. I think this unit is the best of them. It was peaceful and never felt like a crowed resort will. Yes there were chickens with the roosters crowing every morning but we thoroughly enjoyed it as we never wanted to miss the sunrise. Thought no AC would be an adjustment but airflow was good. Tip to future renters, the garage door opener like item hanging by the front door is for the gate so grab it. It wasn't obvious or notated (at least we missed it). The other mention is the beach is not really a beach you sit at and swim. Access is also not easy, steps are a drop down with branches at the bottom. Sand is rough and deep with much debris so one of our family members could not walk it. Rocks are in the water and can be rough with waves. To have the true beach experience, you need to plan on going to another beach. That did not take away from our experience at all. When we went down to the beach at the condo, we looked at it as more of a walking adventure especially at low tide. James (pool guy) and Bryson (grounds guy) were both very friendly and a joy to talk to. Quaint Market area with shops/restaurants 5 minute walk away and also by Lava Lave Beach club were both great and we visited multiple times. We would definitely stay here again!! ##### Teresa W.
