Turn your dreams into lifelong memories at our Lush Tropical Oasis - #523 Lae Nani Resort on the beautiful Royal Coconut Coast in eastern Kauai. Near Wailua Bay in Kapa'a, this is an enviously breathtaking 1 bedroom, ocean-front, beachfront condo located in the premier and preferred building #5 at Lae Nani, and the property is situated for perfect access to all parts of the island. Simply a spot of heaven you just may never want to leave. Imagine lounging on your private lanai where the breaking waves, along with warm tropical trade wind breezes, glorious sunrises, amazing moonrises, and sparkling night skies will have you lost to all of the cares of the world. The beautiful sandy beach is just a few steps away, and the 180 degree view from the deep blue sea to the bay, along the dramatic coastline, and capped with the stunning Hokonui mountain peak is spectacular! Sweeping views of the deep blue pacific ocean from the kitchen, dining area and living room, with comfortable lounge chairs and table and chairs on the lanai, will keep you from ever wanting to leave! Depending on the time of year of your stay, from the lanai you may get to admire breaching whales off the coast, observe sea turtles swimming or lounging on the beach, watch kite surfers flying through the air, or you may even get to cheer on outrigger canoe race or two! Plus, in addition to the unobstructed view, guests appreciate the enhanced security and privacy that a 2nd floor unit provides. (Please note - the unit is up one flight of stairs - no elevator). And, when it's time to get out and play, you can walk to nearby shops, restaurants and beaches, rent kayaks and bikes, or hop in your car, private tour, or Kauai bus and head any direction for a day of fun. THE DETAILS This remodeled retreat is so refreshing – you will not want to leave. The bedroom features a California king size bed, a new cool-sleep memory foam mattress, new luxurious linens and pillows, and air-conditioning for those warmer tropical nights (please note that a/c is located in the bedroom only). We also provide robes for you both - perfect for those crisper mornings on the lanai. The newly renovated bathrooms are stocked with all of the necessities needed for a worry-free stay, including towels and toilet paper, soap and shampoo, plus for those longer stays you'll have a washer and dryer in the complex with complimentary detergent at your fingertips. Should you be in the mood to cook, you will love the well-equipped kitchen that includes all of the basics for cooking and BBQ, like your basic spices and condiments, a dishwasher, range, full size refrigerator and a microwave for those wonderful morning, afternoon, or evening meals on the lanai. That is, of course, if you can pass up the Passion Bakery Cafe (just down the street), whose pastries are a Kauai favorite, or the Lava Lava ... 300 steps from the front door! Finally, flanking the lush grounds and pool area are gas BBQ grills, perfect for you to enjoy so many of the fresh fish options that Kauai has to offer. The condo is wonderfully stocked with the many items needed to enhance a tropical vacation, including beach towels, picnic coolers, beach chairs, a beach umbrella, 2 flat-screen TVs, games and movies. The kitchen has a great selection of spices, and other sundries, and there is also a new Keurig Supreme coffee maker and a sampling of Kauai Coffee K-Cups to kick-start your day. The pool is the perfect spot to relax after a day of adventure, and you will appreciate how beautiful and well maintained the tropical plants and property are kept by the on-site care takers. THE LOCATION Located squarely along the Royal Coconut Coast in Kapa’a, this vacation retreat is just 10 minutes from the Lihue airport. In addition to nearby shopping at the Coconut Marketplace (a 3 minute walk), and a wonderful variety of restaurants (our favorite being the Lava Lava on the Beach right next door), many of Kauai's top activities are also nearby, to include the Wailua Golf Course (known as the best play for pay in Hawaii), Lydgate Park (a wonderful tree-lined picnicking beach with jetty-enclosed safe swimming and snorkeling havens), Wailua River Kayaking, numerous hiking trails, the Smith Family Garden Luau (an island favorite), and the "Ke Ala Hele Makale" - the 7.5 mile bike path that runs along the coast. The Kauai Bike/Walking Path passes along the front of the property, and is the launching point to access nearby activities. Wailua Bay beach, a great walking beach where you can find little treasures, and it's only a 15 minute walk and Lydgate Park is a short drive (or 20 minute walk) to the south, and is known for its sea ponds (full of baby fish), and the perfect spot for swimming and snorkeling. . THE SPECIFICS This oceanfront suite offers Complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi and Free Parking. The space is a generous 850 square fee, and the over-sized lanai is another 150 square feet There is a keyless entry system for convenient and safe check-in, and also strict disinfecting & cleaning measures in place. As mentioned above, Air Conditioning is in the bedroom only. This is a 2nd floor unit with no elevator, however parking is very convenient. As owners who care about you and your Kauai experience, we strive to earn the coveted 5-star rating with every single guest. We personally manage our condo, and we have secured the best on-island staff on Kauai - their attention to detail is 2nd to none. Upgrades and refurbishments happen often, so don’t be surprised when you find the unit is even better than we described! You will also have direct communication with us and our representative team to answer any questions, should the need arise. This condo, and the entire property has a very strict NON-SMOKING policy - this includes cigarettes, vape, and marijuana - even medical. Check-in is 4pm / Check-out is 10am. We have a very active rental schedule, and with our extra cleaning protocols in place, we ask that you do not arrive early or depart late - thank you for understanding. The condo itself was beautifully decorated down to the last detail. The bed was very comfortable. There was air conditioning in the bedroom but we never needed it. The ceiling fans did the job. The kitchen was well-stocked. The furniture was comfortable. Thank goodness they had cable so we could watch college football. This is the nicest place we have stayed on Kauai. And we’ve stayed a lot of places. Lae Nani is a great property with easy access to food, shopping, beach, and walking trails. I would buy it if they would sell it to me. Haha. Teri and Ron were very available and communicated well with us. The condo was very clean, comfortable, has a magnificent view, and accommodated all of my needs. The bed was luxury and having an AC unit in the bedroom made such a difference when needed, although I didn't use it much. I don't think you can beat the location, privacy, and peace. You can’t be more oceanfront than this property, the sounds of the ocean waves at night and during the day were truly therapeutic. The location is perfect, walking distance to restaurants and shops, plus you’re right in between north and south shore. The unit has everything you need too! We even stayed during pretty high temps, but the fans work really well in the living area and the AC in the bedroom was all you need. If we ever get the chance to escape the kiddos again, we know where we’ll be staying! ##### Brit R. The area is amazing with so many shops and restaurants within walking distance. The condo complex has a pool, tennis court, laundry, and direct beach access. Our room on the second floor was perfect for us: beach views within earshot of the waves and easy access to walk to the sand. We had breakfast every morning on the lanai listening to the waves and watching people on the little stretch of beach. We even saw a turtle swim by one evening when we were in the water around sunset.The host was very responsive to questions and requests. The condo was clean, with everything I needed in the kitchen to cook while we were there. Keurig coffee maker was nice to have. They provide some k-cups as well. We saw tiny ants during our whole stay in the kitchen and bathrooms. But they were not bothersome. We saw them all over the island while out too. It's just part of life on an island.There were only 2 of us, but it was nice to have 2 bathrooms. I wish we had more bath towels though. Everything takes so long to dry, and towels get musty. I didn't want to pay for the laundry machines to do towels. We had a great visit and highly recommend this condo and this complex. Great place to relax! Nae Lani is perfectly situated for a trip to Kauai. The beachit sits on was one of our favorites that we visited. The condo has everything you would need and is situated really nicely on the property with a wonderful balcony that i could easily live on. If i was being overly critical the ac in the bedroom was a bit of a issue for sleeping but I'm a hvac guy so its easy for me to critique. Overall 10 out of 10, we will be back. ##### S C. Kapa'a is a cute town and centrally located to the places we chose to visit. The townhouse was nicely decorated with full amenties, beach supplies and a comfortable bed! And, the beachfront was beautiful! The setting was peaceful and relaxing while also a short walk to the shops and market at coconut marketplace. And there were several nice restaurants within walking distance and a few more within a mile drive. We had an amazing week. ##### Diane S. Loved the unit with the waves crashing on the beach. Beautifully appointed with tasteful art, elegant furniture, and a fully stocked kitchen. We cooked quite a bit and had everything we needed. Love the color scheme and beachy vibe of the unit. I really wanted to return to use the pool! It is an awesome pool, clean and large enough to get in some laps. This condo at Lae Nani beach is beautifully decorated, spacious and welcoming. Expansive heavenly views of ocean, beach and lush, green landscape is captivating. Whether from comfortable outdoor lanai furniture or from inside the living room, relaxing in plush swiveling barrel chairs, this scene will take your breath away. Perfect location! Everything you need or want is here and from Kapaa you can easily navigate to anywhere you'd like to go on the island. The grounds are gorgeous and peaceful with an amazing pool! Beach is small and calm, fun and peaceful for just hanging out and enjoying the ocean! Comfortable lounge chairs on the grounds! Amazing sunrises! Can walk to restaurants, but also an easy drive to anything in Kapaa and located centrally so you can drive to the other parts of the Island easily. Teri, the owner, was extremely easy to communicate with and very prompt. Bed is memory foam...just want to mention, since mattresses are a personal preference. I would definitely stay here again!
