Lae Nani is a beautiful resort located on the east side of Kauai, just south of Kapaa. Our location gives you easy access to the North Shore (Napali Coast) and South Shore (Poipu, Waimea Canyon) and there are lots of food options (restaurants) and shops within walking distance. Grocery stores and other restaurants are within a 5 to 10 minute drive (or a long walk). This is a 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom completely renovated condo on the top floor of a 3-story walk-up building. Our location provides privacy from the other units and makes you feel like you are in your own world. This is one of the few units in this complex with Air Conditioning (bedrooms only). The master bedroom has a lanai (balcony) and faces the ocean, so you can't get any closer to the sound or view of the ocean. The second bedroom can be made up as two twin beds or one king. There is a large lanai off the living room with lounge chairs and an outdoor table. The location of the condo means we watch the morning sun rise over the ocean with an amazing 180 degree view. The two Lanais have sun from sunrise until the very late afternoon but the trade winds and a selection of fans maintain comfortable temperatures indoors with air conditioning in the bedrooms to make sure you can sleep well. The kitchen is fully stocked and ready for you should you want to cook your meals at home. We welcome families, providing lots of games and baby accessories including a portable crib and stroller. There is a large grassy area right out front and the sand is only about 75 feet away where there is a keiki (children's) pool, perfect for little ones to safely explore the ocean. There is a heated pool for use by all Lae Nani guests and we have a closet with beach gear that you are most welcome to use. We provide free high speed wireless internet and there is television in the living room with cable, which you can also use to access your Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc. There is a set of blue tooth speakers you can connect to with your smart phone for music. We have keyless entry into the condo so you don't need to worry about losing a key. Parking is free and secured. We welcome you as our guests and hope that you will make our condo your home away from home during your visit to the beautiful Garden Island of Kauai. You have oceanfront, pool, and a beautiful condo. The owners are wonderful hosts providing everything you need. The sunrises are phenomenal, monk seals rest on the beach, and shopping and restaurants are within walking distance. The condo has the best views in the entire complex. It’s beautifully decorated, spacious and clean. The beach in front was great for snorkeling and relaxing. The unit is stocked with everything you’d need for the beach…chairs, umbrella, snorkeling equipment, water shoes and coolers!!!The location is ideal. It is centrally located on the island so travel to the activities north and south is a breeze. In addition, it is steps from the shops at Coconut Market and Lava Lava Restaurant (highly recommended.) The beautiful bike path, which is 7 miles (one way) along the ocean starts down the street. As for the hosts, they were amazing. They gave great recommendations for dinners and activities and answered every text within minutes. Book this place! Perfect Kapaa location. You can’t get closer to the water. The view is unsullied by other resort structures. At night with the 2 lanais the ocean is all encompassing. The nocturnal shearwater birds with their plaintive cries as they navigate by the stars is exhilarating. Out of respect to these seafarers the beach is not lit up which makes sitting on the lanai a spectacle. The big dipper what a swag lamp instead. The furniture is vintage Hawaii which I usually don’t care for but found myself admiring 4 fine pieces of art. The kitchen was well equipped and clean. I made great pizza if I do say so myself. Shannon was patient and kind. I am not the easiest person:) All to say I am grateful for their aloha. Not just the incredible value of such a property and what they charge, but for their spirit for making it all available. I won’t ever forget what I witnessed, the awe and beauty ##### Ilost M. Had everything we needed including beach chairs and umbrella. We spent time on the north and south sides of the island and this location was in between so it worked out good for us. Gorgeous views, impeccable landscaping, beautifully decorated home. And so many details! The AC in the bedrooms was welcomed and needed. The kitchen was fully stocked and then some. There were all sorts of pool toys and supplies for whatever guests would need. The view was amazing. When booking, I was a little concerned about the location being too quiet and not easy to walk to restaurants, etc. Turns out, it was great. Plenty of places within a 10 minute walk! We really cannot say enough about this place. We have stayed in the unit on multiple occasions. it Has all of the amenities of home. Waking up to sunrises every morning is as good as it gets. The two lanais are great to have. The grounds of Lae Nani are like a botanical garden. The location is perfect for walking the beach and to multiple restaurants in the area. Very clean n maintained condo. The owners did text us when we landed about possibly electrical plug issue in bathrooms and offered the maintenance guy to come. We did notice the bathrooms electric plugs were both tripped but my hubby was able to reset them and no need for maintenance. We loved it. The only suggestion I would make is extra shelves in the bathroom as there is no counter space especially in the master bath, that could have been the reason of the electric issue with the prior guest. We will be back. Kauai was amazing. Must do is natalie coast tour with snorkeling, canyon tour and the sugar plantation tunnel float. ##### Serena R. The owners are incredibly helpful and messaged us on arrival day to check in and give us tips on using some of the appliances. The kitchen is fully stocked and being so close to Costco, we had such a nice time preparing food at home and eating on the balcony. The first time we came, we brought so much with us (beach towels, beach toys, toiletries, etc.) but after seeing how stocked the home was, we packed lightly this trip and it saved us a lot of hassle. The washer and dryer are a game changer! When arriving, I would advise looking around the home to see everything they have available, you’ll be very surprised/happy because the owners have thought of everything a family would need. The closet on the balcony has everything you’ll need for a beach day including a cooler, boogie boards and beach chairs. Recommendations: Anini Beach was perfect for our 4 year old daughter… calm, shallow water and plenty of room to spread out on the beach. We even saw sea turtles. The Fresh Bite food truck in Hanalei is a good healthy food option and worth the drive. While you’re there, stop by Pink’s Ice Cream Parlor. Use the Lae Nani pool! It’s huge and never seems crowded. Night swimming was a nightly routine for us all and we met some really nice people over our 10 day stay. The farmers market is close by on Tues/Thurs and Saturdays and is walking distance from the condo. Thanks for sharing your home with us! Can’t wait to return. ##### Ashley D.
