Very good place to stay parking was a little dicey sometimes but we always found somewhere to park. Bikes are included with the stay which was nice their is a bike path you can take to other beaches staff are super friendly and it was easy to get anywhere on the island

This property is centrally located so it was a great location for us to explore the island. The restaurant was very good. Even though the property has a few buildings that are currently being renovated I was not disturbed by construction noise.

The staff were friendly and incredibly helpful. The rooms were nice. Construction was happening the entire time on one of the buildings and it kind of brought down the vacation vibe

Large lovely unit. Easily accommodated two grandchildren and mom and dad in one bedroom, grandparents in the other large bedroom. Beautiful grounds, grandkids loved the pool and beach and was very convenient having a grocery store across the street. Easy access to both north and south ends Kauai. Would definitely stay here again.

My only question is if the waves are calmer on the beach when the winds we experienced are minimal. Winds made the water and waves rough for swimmers

the complimentary yoga on the beach was a huge plus. this is the best resort in the area we walked to the others and definitely prefer this one. the bar is superior and the live music was great. our unit had a kitchenette to save on eating out too much. strongly recommend.

The cutest renovated hotel! Felt like if you walked in to a 1960’s hotel. Novela and Del made check in so nice, I felt like family. Had a 15 minute conversation with them. Having free valet is great. Restaurant food and views are awesome. Beach is a bit too wild to get in there but you can’t beat the view and the nightly singers are awesome!

It’s a motel setting and the property description should accurately describe it. The pictures are misleading. The rooms are very small, barely large enough for 2 ppl. We only stayed one night. I couldn’t imagine staying longer with 4 of us. The staff were very friendly. Everyone is nice in Hawaii.

It was all good but the parking. The spaces have 4 inches per side. The lot is small forcing you to use valet, but it is only the cost of tips and was fine.

My husband and I went here on our honeymoon, and we absolutely love it! The beach access was so fun, the vibe was very chill, good for families, and people who want just a calm island vacation. The pool is great, the rooms were great, we loved it!

This is a well maintained property in the area. The staff are welcoming and pleasant. The only downside is that you might have trouble with finding parking at times. The parking lot fills up, especially with the fact that the property shares it with a restaurant.

Loved this place only inconvenience was tiny parking but they also offer free valet. Great place to stay old Hawaii feels and super close to coconut marketplace!

Everything about this place is perfect. The vibe, the food, the staff. Perfect place for a sunrise!! We stayed a couple nights as a starting place after a long travel day and were sad to leave. Would stay again in a heart beat!!

I liked that the Lava Lava Club Restaurant was the dining option. The food, service, and atmosphere was amazing! The room was spacious and clean. The only downside was that the walls were thin and you could easily hear noise in the hallway from the bedroom.

Great Location. Check in was ok didn’t reiterate the what hotel has to offer like bike, yoga and etc. Some front desk staff friendly and helpful others aren’t. Close to everything. Room was ok little older, bathroom was ok, I tried to not have the room cleaned as frequently as possible however it was thoroughly cleaned. Lava lava Beach club was good … Hit and Miss on the server though… some helpful some not… Host was great… Live Band was nice. If we wanted to book again it’s because of the location and yoga. Anya was awesome.

Highly recommend using Kauai Shores for families! We stayed in a pool view room, ground level the first time. Loved it! Second time we stayed in a Garden view (which isn't really a garden view, just a room) with a King bed and loved that too! Really can't go wrong. Love that it is a 2 min walk to Coconut Plantation shopping center with ABC and plenty of restaurants. Staff is so happy and kind. Much aloha!

The updates to the rooms were a great touch with refillable filter water machines located around the property. Laundry service facilities were clean and easy to use. The only drawback was the parking situation as if you got back late you might not find parking or have to wait time for parking to open up.

The location was great. The property is beachfront on a beautiful beach. The grounds are well maintained with gorgeous flowers everywhere. Our room was decorated with fun mid century modern decor. The bed was not supportive and needs a new mattress. The bathroom needs a remodel. The Lava Lava Club serves great food all day beachfront. We loved watching the sunrise from the beach and stars at night.

This property was clean, updated, and comfortable. We felt like it was the perfect location to explore the island. We were a little bummed by the small pool but not enough to give the resort less than 5 stars. The staff was helpful and friendly!

A very pleasant, clean and fairly quiet hotel on the beach. A bit dated but well-kept. Wind and waves were a bit rough for swimming our week but the beach is very nice.
