the room smells very bad of cigarettes even though it was a non smoking room. Also soundproofing is very bad to non existent ( you an hear everything from the hallway) Breakfast is from 7 - 10, but after 9 they never replenish anything and very few options remain. Although a buffet, not many options for westerners, also the toast machine is constantly being dirty by guests trying to toast their egg toasts or jam toasts... Breakfast staff also not very helpful and no English spoken whatsoever. Overall decent value for money but I guess you could find better options.

Good location, near a MRT station and not so far from the wharf shopping area. Room was good and had a top sheet as well, which is good when the doona/duvet is too warm.

A modern,new,clean and convenient business hotel
The hotel is very new and modern. The room is big and decoration very nice and modern. The bathtub is very nice. Hotel is located in a very convenient location near to most tourist attractions and 5 mins walk to the MRT station. Hotel provides free drinks and snacks throughout the day in their cafe. The not so nice thing about this hotel is that you have to climb half a flight of stairs from the hotel lobby to take the lift which is quite weird. For us carrying big and heavy luggage, it is a task just to get to the lift. There is no hotel staff to help you.

The hotel is nice, good location 5min walk to a small night market, 1min walk to 7-11. hotel staff are friendly room are big and clean. Only thing is if you have a big luggage and you will need to climb up the stairs to reach the Lift and the hotel staff won't help you.

Room is spacious and comfortable but wasn't very clean. I got a dirty sink and glasses. Sink area wasn't very convenient when you want to make use of your toiletries.

Nice Hotel Breakfast. And 24/7 Drink & Ice Cream.
Total good expereience at the hotel. There no windows. But got computer to surf internet, top-tier bathroom, comfort bed and spare is just nice.

Guest parking far away. Hotel was good.
The car park is a little walk from the hotel. So drop your bags at the hotel and then go park the car (something we wish the receptionist would have said prior to us going and parking, to then carry our luggage in the blazing sun). Rest of the hotel was very nice. The surrounding area is good for exploring - go to Hotel Indigo (5min walk away) on the top floor for good views of the city and a nice drink. Breakfast was enough.

Good location being just across a small park from MRT station. 24hr dim sum snack and cheap beverages available in their breakfast room. Be aware that there are still steps to climb to get to their elevator for those of you with big luggage.

Convenient location
It takes just 5 minutes of walking to reach the hotel from the Central Park metro station. It is convenient and safe even if you stay out late.

Latest deign but poor acoustic
New hotel with latest design. Pity that the designers/builders did not pay much attention to the bathroom acoustics. We could hear the taps and shower and toilet going from the room above. Good breakfast spread. Platonic reception staff which is unusual for Taiwan

Avoid at all cost!
Wifi was not working when we checked in. Hotel staff at reception was not very helpful, made us try connection again and again before she sent someone to check. Moved us to another room and still did not work. In the end was told they will have to get the telecommunication company to come and do maintenance. Having internet connection was important to us and so we wanted to cancel booking and go to another hotel but was told that since we booked through hotels.com we won't get a refund. Reception was unapologetic and appeared uninterested in making the situation better. Shower concept was ridiculous. Sink design was rretarded; Water splashes everywhere. We can even hear the other guests using the bathroom. The water drainage from upstairs was crystal clear in our room when they use the sink or the shower and they are using the shower even at 2am. Breakfast was atrocious. Please do not stay even if it's cheap. There are way better options available and perhaps at an even better rate. We Will never be back here again.

A nice stay!
Satisfied with my stay in Royal hotel central garden overall. The shower is strong enough and it is clean and neat too. Complimentary bottle water is a nice offer in humid and hot weather. An amazing offer is a desktop computer in the room. The only pitfall is the absence of shower gown. Staff are nice and helpful and the buffet breakfast keeps its reasonable quality with its price.

This is the best hotel over 5 hotels we stayed during our trip. Good location (very close to train station, close to Love River), nice staff and very good room (spacious, new, modern, clean).

Designer hotel in a convenient location
It is a cool boutique hotel. A designer would feel right at home here and a non designer would appreciate the modern beauty and a great attention to detail. Think IKEA meeting a swanky asian decor. It is a small hotel with just a few rooms on each floor. The room we stayed in was quiet small but smartly and meticulously designed with a fantastic bathroom (and tub) and the most toiletries I have ever seen. It included a breakfast but we did not wake up on time to enjoy it. The staff was semi helpful but did not move a finger to help us with our luggage. Location was very convenient, across the park from the Central Park MRT station. It was walking distance (20 min) to the Pier 2 art center and the Love River. To get to other attractions (Lotus Pond), we took at easy 20 min MRT ride.

お洒落を売りにした若者向けのホテルのようです。 設備が新しいので全体的に綺麗だと思います。 ただ、ホテルの設備がデザインを重視しし過ぎてるため、ユニバーサルデザインになっていないため、設備の寸法や設計がなんでこんな使い難いんだろうと疑問を感じるところがあります。 また、オーバヘッドシャワーは壊れててシャワーヘッドの真横から漏れて使えませんでした。 トイレはウォシュレットはついておらず、やはり台湾ではありがちなんですが、トイレットペーパーは便器に流してはならないと注意書きがありました。 やはり見た目より、使いやすさや過ごしやすさに重点おいた設計の方がいいように思います。 理由は分かりませんが、滞在期間中は清掃が無かったでしたが、衛生上、タオルの交換は必要だと思います。 朝食は品数は多くも、少なくもなくちょうどいい感じて、どれも美味しかったです。 フルーツは新鮮で甘かったです。　 今回のコメントでは設備に関してはあえて厳しく書きました。 これについては、私の性格上、表面上の見た目だけ良くても、中身が薄く実力が伴っていないのが嫌いなためです。 これは物だけでなく世の中の人間にも当てはまると思います。

稍舊、平價，還ok
整體以這個價位來說，不會不滿意，還算對得起，床好睡。浴廁抽風扇很大聲、有霉，冷氣出風口積灰塵蠻多，過敏體質會蠻痛苦的。早餐號稱供應至11點，但是9點下去，很多熱食已空，而且是不補餐食的，最後只有吃幾片烤麵包，喝一杯咖啡。
