The hotel is very well located. Less than 5 min of walk to kaohsiung station. A 7-11 and subway below the hotel, there are KFC, Mcdonald, Burger King, yoshinoya diagonal opposite the hotel. There are some shops selling local food right opposite the hotel. So location wise is 100%. The exterior of the hotel looks old, but the room is quite not bad. Free breakfast with porridge, rice, egg omelette, sausage, toast bread etc for guest. 1 thing not so good is along way from kaohsiung station to the hotel; there are a few homeless people stay there and many renovation going on. Getting up and off the bed was hard for the person sleeping against the wall. In general, the hotel was very clean although there was an instance when the staff were chasing a rat out of the hotel on the ground floor. Room was newly renovated, toiletries (including facial wash, body lotion & conditioner) and 4 bottles of water provided each day. Room cleaning is done on request. You have to inform front desk each morning if you want to have your room cleaned that day by leaving your keycard there. Otherwise they will not enter your room. Breakfast was plentiful and there're snacks (pau, popcorn, biscuits and ice cream) & drinks available 24 hours a day. Breakfast room was very spacious. No need to wait for a table. We spent a lot of time here as the room was very small. Computers were available for use too. Kids usually parked themselves there playing games. Laundry room with free detergent provided. We had no problem getting our laundry done. Need not Q or wait. One negative thing is there's only 1 lift. So may need to wait a little.
