A very comfortable home in the countryside. Very convenient to nearby cities, yet away from any bustle of the city. A peaceful setting, we all enjoyed watching beautiful birds from the living room and the patio.

We enjoyed our stay. It was very close to our youngest son’s home. Our entire family came to visit in Lenexa and your home provided the rooms needed and was only a mile away from where the rest of the family was.

Home away from home

Really nice, comfortable place to visit with family and friends. Everything as described, in good condition and well stocked-they had everything you could think of. Host was easy to communicate with. Plenty of outdoor space, the dogs loved the pasture area.

Beautiful Home and Property

This was the cleanest, most beautiful property I've had the pleasure of staying in. The home was spotless and had every amenity one could ask for - all kitchen appliances, dishes, cookware, spices, etc.. Also, fast internet, A/C, laundry, plenty of beautiful picture windows looking out over peaceful, tree-filled rolling acres. Both the Owner and Manager couldn't be nicer or more helpful. It just doesn't get any better than this folks! Can't wait to go back.

2023 Family Thanksgiving

House was great! Like open spaces and looking at deer in your yard, then rent this home. Sally the owner hired an awesome property manager "Lynn" as she was timely in communicating and follow up. Rural gem

This was such a beautiful property out in the rural countryside outside KC. Such a quiet respite. I left feeling like the property manager was our new friend and the house more like a home. We were there during a pretty hot season and were so thankful for the great AC and ability to park in the garage to avoid the bugs at night! The house was so well stocked and I would stay again if the opportunity ever arises. Only regret was not being there when the fireflies apparently come out in July!

Quiet & Comfortable Property, Friendly Host

The Firefly property was just what we needed for our business trip and extended weekend. Extremely quiet with a wonderful view of the overall property & grounds. Spacious master bedroom with comfortable King bed, full kitchen, dining table, big TV with cable, fast & reliable internet service. Other bedrooms were nicely appointed as well. The house was very clean throughout. Peaceful location is great for rest and relaxation but also very convenient to restaurants and access to larger areas of the metro. We were really impressed with Lynn, the property manager, who was super responsive and pleasant. After immediately answering a couple of quick questions we had prior to booking, our continued communications with her were very friendly and she made us feel welcomed and appreciated throughout our stay. We will certainly consider staying here again!

Weekend With Grandchildren

This house is really nice. It is better than the pictures. Very light, big rooms, with plenty of room for us. There were two adults and three kids. We each had our own room, with one adult and one child sharing the master. The surrounding property is very nice, spacious and the neighborhood is very quiet. It was a good place for us to be together and for the kids to play. Lynn was very accessible. I called her several times. She always answered and she even came over to bring coffee, plastic ware for the kids and shampoo. When we were having difficulty with the TV, she and her husband came over to help. Thank you for a nice stay.

Country Delight

Two dads, two sons, and another player enjoyed our stay for a baseball tournament at Creekside. We enjoyed the peace and quiet of the country setting. Everyone had their own space, plus we had a blast grilling out and playing the boys in a fun game game of wifle ball on the front lawn. We would not hesitate to stay here again in the future.

July was magical at Firefly House

This property was perfectly sized & so clean. Our family of 6 stayed here so my daughter could attend the Taylor Swift concert at Arrowhead Stadium. This house was a 30 minute drive from the stadium, also 30 minutes from Lego Land, & 15-30 minutes from the many BBQ restaurants we sampled over our long weekend. The skylights & picture windows created a very open atmosphere. The flowers on the property were beautiful & yard was well manicured. We absolutely LOVED watching & catching fireflies at dusk. There were hundreds & it was truly magical! We would certainly stay here again if ever in this area.

Fabulous Time at Firefly

The entire visit was wonderful. The location was convenient to family we were visiting as well as attractions in the area. A delightful time for our dog as well. We will stay again if it is available.

The Country House

The country house is not really in the country, but is on a big lot where one has some privacy. The house was exceptionally clean., with all basic needs provided. There are beautiful paintings decorating the house. Lynn, our host was helpful in every way and timely.
