You'll love this stunning loft because the ambience, the neighborhood, and the market on the weekends, the comfy beds, and brand new everything! The loft is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), and big groups up to 8 people. Fully equipped with wifi, netflix and pandora on main TV, TV in each bedroom. Loft is in the best part of town, central to everything, middle of the River Market, one block from the City Market, and the KC Street Car which is free. It is within minutes by foot, street car, or even bicycle, to the Downtown are which includes the T-Mobile Center, Kauffman Center, Crossroads, Power and Light district, ect. Plaza and Westport are less than 10 minutes away. You can't beat the location! The loft as new kitchen, new carpets in 2 of the bedrooms, hard wood floors throughout the rest, with new beds and new furniture. This loft is fully furnished with linens and towels. This is located above a bakery on the second floor with one flight of stairs to take you to the main floor of the loft. Lastly the rental is self-catering. We provide bedding (1 set per bed), bath towel and washcloth (1 set per person), and kitchen linens for your stay. There is a washer and dryer available for use if needed during the stay. We provide initial supply of paper towels (1 roll), toilet paper (2 full rolls per bathroom), dish detergent and laundry detergent. It fit our varied group (adultteenager, adultpre-teen, 3 adultsteenager) well with it's layout. The property was clean, the beds were comfortable, the living areas were comfortable for hanging out. The location was both a pro and a con for us. We were familiar with River Market. Being able to take the streetcar downtown was amazing. Walking City Market on the weekend was enjoyable. Having a Dominos in walking distance after the show at 1am saved us. But, the vape shop directly below the loft meant it smelled of weed most of our stay and 2 if the bedrooms were in close enough proximity to the bar below that it was noisy until roughly 3am. We also had men sitting at a table directly outside the door to the loft who were friendly, but unsettling as the females entered by keypad alone. Our exterior door handle was jostled twice after we locked it.The hot water in the showers was welcomed, but pretty intense, it didn't adjust well. 3/8 of us had to get out quickly otherwise it would scald them. It would have been nice if we could have left run dishes running in the dishwasher at departure, instead of having to do them all before we left. That felt tedious, and like something the cleaning crew-not the guests should have to do. We were also surprised to find only 1 trash bag on property. That seemed stingy, especially when we had to get more to allow us to clean up after ourselves. ##### Nikki K. The other reviews do point out that the noise can be an issue in the front bedrooms during the weekends and that is very true. We brought a small white noise machine and that helped. The heater wasn't working when we arrived, so it was quite cold when we went to bed. However, as soon as I reached out about it Rachel and Tommy made sure to get the heater fixed as quickly as they could. It was working again within hours of me contacting them. One of the dining chairs was missing, which made it a little challenging with 6 adults. Parking was about $25 a day in the lot across the street. The convenience of that lot was nice. It is walkable to restaurants and bars. ##### Whitney B. Pros: easy to get to, great space with lots of room, cool vibe with the decor. Decent beds, kitchen had everything we needed, showers were nice. Appreciated having mirrors in the bedrooms and plenty of space to unpack/lay things out. Cons: Noise, parking, odor, towels Friday night was so loud outside with the music and people. Saturday was quiet. Our son and his wife said they could barely hear the noise in their back bedroom, but those of us in the front of the loft, by street, felt like our windows were open with how loud it was. Parking ... a bit of a pain with having to pay so much but at least the lot was right across the street. The free parking on the street was just not practical for us as you must move your car every 2 hours. There is marijuana store on the street next door. The odor of that or from the people out on the street carried up the stairs to our loft. Minor but worth mentioning - suggestion to replace your bath towels with something newer. All the towels were faded, worn, and some were stained. They reminded me of the towels I would send with my kids to camp - the ones your didn't care about if they didn't bring them back home, lol. ##### Shawn M. Cool property and very convenient location. It can definitely be noisy at night due to the sports bar below the rental, and the people leaving the bar at night.
