Chateau Avalon was beautiful! Our stay was so incredible, the room was so cool, breakfast was amazing, and this place has a special place in our hearts as we got engaged at the front fountain. Thank you for everything!

I had no hot water all night i called front dest and was told to wait about 45 min to an hour per it was a full house wich would have been ok except i had already been waiting all afternoon into the evening and never did have hot water it came out ice cold and would run luke warm for maybe 5 min and back to cold i waited till almost 2.am and still couldn't get it hot.

The staff was very welcoming and informative of all the hotel’s accommodations. However, the room I was not so pleased about. They could definitely use an update on these rooms. The room smelled weird like a mildewed basement. Had to spray my perfume to get rid of it, although I could still smell it a bit. The lighting was terrible. The furniture was old and dirty and needs to be cleaned or replaced. My biggest issue was that the jacuzzi hot tub water, did NOT get hot! With the rates these rooms are going for, they need to do better!! Probably won’t book here again.

I received an email the day I was to check in. It was a pre-check in. Which is fine. But the email said I could check in at 3 PM. Which was great. When I got here at 3 PM they told me the room was not ready and would not be ready till 4 PM. I explained that your email said 3 PM. They said, “yes, we’re trying to fix that“later on I went down to the front desk and no one was there for probably 10 minutes. There was several people waiting.

Check-in was fast and efficient. Our room was right outside the lounge so it was noisy. For being a non-smoking venue, the smell of marijuana was pungent outside our room, along with the tobacco smokers directly outside entryways. Room was clean.

Spa service at the spot, it was great, but water heater was broken, no hot water, none of the elevator was working while I was there. Maybe bad timing but nothing was compensated for the inconvenience.

After a year of just being busy i was finally able to afford to bring my husband to a football game. Ive heard great places about the Chateau so i said why not? Check in was simple, done online. We get to our room and the jets on the bathtub done work. Ms. Lauren offered us another room. Which was amazing on her part. But all the rooms we went into none of the beds were made. Bummed out that we had to wait for the room to get cleaned out and linen to be put on. We were tired after a road trip. But so grateful for Ms. Lauren for going above and beyond to help us.

Always enjoyable, just not fabulous!!!
We love the Château Avalon. It has the potential for being fabulous. However, I it seems every time we go that it’s a little less kept up such a beautiful place. The beds are super comfortable love the pillows. Due to the lack of hot water beautiful spa tub, however, the management graciously, gave us all night on them to make up. I would have rather enjoyed my time there. I need a make up line fortunately. We ordered a breakfast sandwich and coffee to be delivered in the room. It was on time. The coffee was delicious. Sandwiches were good but we didn’t receive anything extra such as salt and pepper may be a little butter would’ve been nice if, I don’t think the muffin was buttered. We would definitely stay OK because it’s such a beautiful place but it’s the little things attention to detail that turns a good state into a fabulous stay.

The room that we stayed in had tub/shower combo in the main area of the room. Carpet butted up to tub and it was next to a window. The wood on the window pane was saturated with peeling paint from moisture and there was visible black mold on the mounding. The rest of the room had broken and scratched furniture. Overall impression was that the room was not sanitary.

Everything was but when I called room service to tell them my coffee maker was broken and that I couldn't make coffee they told me to come to the lobby to get coffee when I got to the lobby the coffee was cold other then that over all great I believe they will correct that when people pay that kind of money they should get the service that's expected

This place was ok, but the room we reserved isn’t what we got & we let them know & they said that Expedia was what caused the problem by overbooking the room so they let us see the other types of rooms they had left and let us pick one. That was nice but not the experience we hope to have or deal with.

The room was so small and cramped that we could barely walk between the bathtub and the bed. The TV is so small and put on a wall where you can even see it if you’re laying on the bed. However, it didn’t matter if we could see it our not because the TV service was so poor it kept going in and out which made it impossible to watch. The mattress was perhaps the most uncomfortable thing I’ve ever slept on. They tell you room service is available but apparently not when you’ve placed the order in advance (our food was never delivered). The worst part, there was ZERO parking because a wedding was taking place. I understand the guests needed a place to park but it was NOT cheap to book a 2 night stay and I at least expected a place to park. There are little to zero amenities in the room so don’t bother bringing clothes you need to iron OR hung up because the closet space only a foot wide. I stayed here previously and had a fabulous experience, but that was 2 years ago. I was really looking forward to going back but now I’ll never waste the extra money again. Just stay at the Comfort Inn (at least you’ll get breakfast there).

Chateau Avalon is known for weddings. So to stay overnight on the weekends, parking was awful. Staff was hard to find, rude and unhelpful. We had to search ourselves and get our own answers to our questions. Rooms were small and VERY little storage to unpack our bags... one end table and three hangers. Spa - Masseuse were good but you can hear all of the activity from the hotel while you're getting your massage. It was not a calming environment. We will not return.
