We did not enjoy the lady that checked us in. She did not communicate well and was not friendly or approachable. The lady that checked us out in the morning was friendly and courteous. I would recommend this hotel based on its cleanliness and spacious rooms.

The hotel was a bit more modern than I go for, but it was plenty comfortable, and I liked the set up of the room. The only thing that caught me off guard was that there was no door to the shower and sink area, and the wall between this area and the bed was just some frosted glass panels. I only booked a room with one bed, and I was traveling by myself, so this was no big deal, and won't keep me from staying here again. I would recommend looking into the bathroom design before sharing a room with others though.

This was a safe and solid option for us for an event in downtown KC on a weekend. Parking was easy, as was access to downtown by car. The room was mostly very comfortable, with good amenities. Some small things that could have been better: they're just using one-ply toilet paper; the shower door did not close all the way, but appeared to, so the shower leaked out onto the bathroom floor; there was a stain on the ottoman in our room; the lotion with our bath products hadn't been replaced, so the bottle had a dent in it and it had clearly been used previously. The hotel is nice NOW, but as little things like this add up over the years, it will probably not be as nice when it isn't as new.
