This property used to be the nicest in the Kankakee area. Used to be. I don't have any problem with thinking that just about anything across town (by the mall) in the same price range must be better. We stayed twice in one week, so two different rooms. The second room was missing a bedside lamp, had a squeak demon bathroom door, and both rooms had toilets that were so loud they would wake the other person up if you had to "go" in the middle of the night. And then there's the dirty and stained furniture. Neither were up to Hilton standards in my opinion. And the fact that breakfast isn't included in the price these days is just laughable. Even the less than great Comfort Inn in Orland Hills had something for breakfast included in the price. Not great by any stretch, but something. And at a higher price point. That said, I do want to compliment the staff for their friendliness. Smiling faces all around.

Room 204 was absolutely terrible! The carpet was ragged and ripped. The couch and chair were turning black from use. The mattress were well worn and uncomfortable. The room felt very dated and dark. I would not recommend this hotel

Room wasn't clean with dirty bed sheet. Bathtub was also dirty and need to be cleaned again. Was really disappointed that my expectation wasn't met with how much they where charging per night.

outstanding warm and welcoming :)
absolutely fantastic service, decor, amenities and staff. we pass through loads of highway hotels and this stay was outstanding, right down to the festive holiday decorations. the hot chocolate bar in the lobby was incredibly cute and made my night!!! i hear the general manager is a great lady with a passion for her guests. this makes me want to come back again and again.

Front desk staff were excellent. Dining room staff not so much. Waitress attempted to charge me extra for wine claiming there was no “button” for chardonnay so I was charged for sauvignon blanc which was more expensive. Had to show her on the (very limited) menu what the correct price was. She apologized but it seemed like an attempt to overcharge hoping I wouldn’t notice the difference. She also made some mistakes in the meal order and not just with me but also with other diners. Restaurant was not that busy. Food, however, was good, kudos to the kitchen. Room was clean and comfortable.

Kankakee trip
This was might second visit to this hotel and I found the service, comfort and cleanliness of the hotel met my expectations each visit. My visits were short but the staff were very professional and friendly at each interaction.

Friendly person greeted us at the desk and we had a nice conversation. The hotel was bright and there were refreshments and food available . There wa a good physical fitness room and a hot tub ready for use. Our room was pleasant and a good amount of space. Really great shower .

We were very happy with the cleanliness of the room. The staff were so friendly and professional. We had our 2 dogs with us. The staff were friendly towards them. I highly recommend this Hilton. By the way the breakfast and cocktails were very good.

Older facility. The event center attached to the hotel is no longer used because the grass is grown up around the building. It was clean but rooms need updated and more light.

This property was clean, the beds were fairly comfortable but the pillows were terrible! It was very convenient to where we needed to be. Other than the horrible pillows, I would stay here again if necessary.

Lobby and main area all looks to be beautiful. Our room was old and outdated. Smelled of smoke even though it was a non-smoking floor. Couch and chair had stains on them. Walls had numerous holes and marks. Tubs was stained gray. Definitely not worth the price charged.
