« I really enjoyed our stay. We stayed for a month while we relocated from Ohio. The owners were easily accessible and very kind. The house was clean and fully stocked. The property was secluded and the the nature all around was relaxing. The owners were knowledgeable about local attractions and places to eat. « As we were driving a series of long winding roads to this property we said to ourselves, “this place is going to have to be really nice to be worth the drive.” And it was. The nature sounds were amazing. Eating every meal on the lanai was lovely. The kids fought over who got to sleep on the lanai. It’s close to a beautiful black sands clothing-optional beach, and otherwise there’s not much to do out there. It’s not the best jumping off point for lots of island touring, but it’s the perfect spot...

Sharon and Steve worked with us and VRBO to help us straighten everything out. And we spent 3 days in the area and it was beautiful. Every day was a new adventure. »

« We had an excellent stay at the Waiakea Villas. The room was comfortable and the amenities were excellent. Check-in was by lockbox, but it was easy to use. There is a State Park just around the corner which was a nice place to walk in the mornings. The room does not have central A/C (like many places in Hawaii) but it did have a portable unit. We did not find instructions for how to use the portable unit in the room's guest guide, but eventually figured out that there is an outflow pipe for hot...
