« Don’t stay here if you’re expecting some shops around the corner. It’s 23 kilometres from the nearest town, but that’s the good thing about it. Out on a sheep station but with fabulous views over Backstairs Passage, a well equipped kitchen to cook in and a great outdoor deck area. An amble through the fields to a couple of completely private beaches. Swallows nesting in the garage. And yes there is a washing machine »

« We stayed 3 nights at Fairview Beach House. Great view. Short walk to the water. Sleeps up to 11, great for a family get away. Could do with a good garden tidy up, front and back. View a bit cut off. And a bit of TLC with the internal doors. But all needs provided for and in good proximity to Kingscote for supplies. Emu Bay is a beautiful spot. Will be back one day. »

« We stayed here with our family of five. The house had everything we needed and was was located on a quiet street. We particularly loved that we could just walk over the sand dune at the back of the house and we had a piece of the beach which was so private and protected. The kids and dog loved running in and out of the shallow water and trying to find crabs hiding under the rocks. »
