Rooms are a bit dated, but clean and comfortable. Having a small fridge and a decent hair dryer in the room make life easier. Other notes: Super close to the train station, and a big Starbucks. Vending machines and laundry facilities on the main floor. A microwave and trouser press on each floor next to the elevator. Physical keys have to be left with reception each time you leave. Not even trying to hide the smell with any type of deodorizer, just pure cigarette smoke. The room 215 was an absolute nightmare. The door knob was caked with ash/dirt/dust. The carpet was hardly vacuumed, visible accumulated dust and grime, the ac was also caked with dust and smoke. Turning in the ac was like turning on your own personal smoke stack, it was either on and stanky, or off and hot and stanky. The walls were carved by lets say much use of the bed scratched along the wall, the tv was barely hanging on the mount and was also caked with dirt. The walls also had the smell of smoke permanently themed. There was trash under the bed, and the sheets were an off white/tan color. Surprisingly the bathroom was clean, but the amenities were bland generic non scented, unable to get the smoke smell out of my hair from sleeping there 1 night, thank glob it was only 1 nignt. This was by far the worst hotel i stayed in during my 1 month in Japan. Avoid this hotel at all costs, 150 a night was an absolute scam.
