The house is spacious and comfortable, which made for a relaxing stay overall. However, we were really looking forward to using the rooftop space to enjoy the mountain views, and were very disappointed to find it closed on arrival. The staff explained it was shut for safety repairs but admitted they hadn’t informed us in advance, which was frustrating. The house also had a musty odour, as though it hadn’t been used in some time. That said, having so much space and being so close to the garden was a real plus.
