High Desert Fortune Cat offers a stylish and spacious townhome, perfect for relaxing after exploring the wonders of southern Utah. The layout: All bedrooms are upstairs. Master Bedroom - king bed, chair, storage areas and a big screen TV. It features an ensuite bathroom with a shower/tub combo and complimentary shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Guest Bedroom 1 - queen bed, storage areas and access to the front balcony with seating. Guest Bedroom 2 - two twin beds, storage areas and access to the front balcony with seating. Guest Bathroom - shower/tub combo with complimentary shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Downstairs features an open floor plan. Living room - Comfy couches and a big screen TV. There's plenty to do with state and national parks nearby, but if you're looking for something more low-key for a day or two, consider the local hikes featured on the flyers in our house book: Squaw, Bunting and K-hill, all offering wonderful views. As well, Jacob Hamblin park has a playground, field, pool with slides, splash pad, and tennis/pickleball courts; Kanab City Library is nearby and often has books for sale; Ranchos Park has great baseball fields; Best Friends Animal Sanctuary has great guided tours (they welcome donations). Also consider the local restaurants, bakeries, and ice cream shops. We love some of the local tour companies; they can make your travel time far more productive and enjoyable. Many of them even offer early morning pick-ups from Kanab. Equestrian and biking trails are also available. Kanab offers a rich mix of local dining, unique shops, and cultural experiences that highlight the beauty of the Southwest. We used it as base for Zion, Bryce, and Grand Canyon for four nights. Kitchen was well appointed and enjoyed outdoor grill. Since it looked fairly new, it was very clean and spacious for 7 people (4 adults and 3 children). The facility had everything you needed, including extra clean sheets and towels, comforters, utensils, cookwares, oil&condiments, detergents, and even hiking poles. It felt like home away from home.
