The kitchen was very well stocked, the location was great and we enjoyed that the patio had more privacy and shade than many others in the Fairwinds, and the house was in great condition and very nicely decorated. The management was also very easy to work with and available for questions. Having access to the beach club is one of the biggest perks and they had a good supply of items for the beach - chairs, snorkel stuff, etc. The only thing I would want to let folks know about is the beds are very firm. ##### Shawnna M. Unit was standard with less amenities compared to others at Fairways. No cooler or umbrellas so organize your own shade if you plan on visiting public beaches or be at the beach club well before nine to get shade. Does have 5 bikes. I also did not want a resort trip. I wanted to feel more a part of the culture and feel a real piece of Hawaiian life. This area had shopping and the beach nearby. It was conveniently located to nearby beaches, parks, and not too far from Kona for the activities and airport. It was also a nice place to retreat to on the days we journeyed out for adventure to further away spots. It was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. There were no major issues and when I had questions, I was able to reach the management quickly and easily. I would return again and recommend this place to others as well. Mike was an amazing host who answered my every question expediently and courteously. We looked for a place that would provide enough space for our family. Our two boys enjoyed the twin beds and a pull out couch in the living room area. My husband and I relished the peace of the upstairs master suite. The pool was just a stroll away and peaceful and uncrowded. The foliage on the property is outstanding and provides a lush experience. The lanai on the ground floor was over the top perfect. I spent a lot of time out there and we were able to grill every night and enjoy stars like I have never seen before! The pass to the beach club was also super handy. We explored other beaches and snorkeled elsewhere but I felt really at home at the beach club! We were so sad to leave, but hopefully we will be able to return in the future!
