Beautiful, spacious oceanfront condo at the acclaimed Mauna Lani Terrace - steps from the beach! Re-furnished in 2021, D102 has two master bedrooms on each side of a spacious living room and kitchen area. The master bedroom has a king size bed and the second bedroom has two twin beds and each bedroom has it's own private en-suite bathroom and their own private lanai access. If you prefer to have the twin beds pushed together and made up into a king bed for your stay, please request for this at time of booking. The living room has large glass sliders that connect to an ocean view lanai, which allows for a tropical indoor / outdoor ambiance. The large lanai hangs over a native Hawaiian fishpond and is a great place to have sunset dinners, or a cozy place to relax and hear the sounds of the nearby Pacific Ocean. Our stay in this condo was very comfortable and an enjoyable experience! The beds were comfortable, the condo was stocked with everything we needed during our 10 day stay, and the property itself was breathtaking! We particularly enjoyed the outdoor patio space and the peaceful start it provided each morning. The view of the ocean was even better than the pictures alluded to! The only hiccup we had was that the entire property is non-smoking. We were aware the condo itself was non-smoking and no one was looking to smoke indoors. Rather, My father-in-law enjoys having a cigar in the evening and there was no where for him to do this. I think that it likely has more to do with how tobacco use is viewed on the island as a whole but I think it is worth mentioning just in case anyone looking to rent is a smoker as it isn't as simple as just going to the parking lot if you want to abide by the property rules and respect the other residents. The unit is halfway between the pool/jacuzzi and the beautiful beach, and the walk to the beach along the ponds was always delightful.. We didn’t use the sports complex but we’re glad it could be available for our kids next time. Instructions on how to use the TV were all that were missing but the manager sent someone over to instruct us. We are seriously thinking about returning.
