When I’ve rented other vacation houses, I’ve often felt that I was trespassing in someone else’s living room. Not so at the Red Ohana. The whole vibe is welcoming. The decor is charming. The layout is comfortable. Everything is well-thought-out and well-supplied. The kitchen, the bathroom, the bedrooms, the laundry, the housekeeping, the porch chairs, the beach supplies — all needs anticipated and ready to go. The landscaping is private, soothing and beautiful.This was the ideal place for a family reunion. My family of four had the two-bedroom house; the extended family had the larger house about twelve steps away. It was easy to share meals, make group plans, and relax. They were both clean with lots of amenities. We loved that everything we could have needed was at the house! A short drive to the coast, about 15-20 minutes away. It was convenient to be close to shops as well! Comfy beds and very functional kitchen. We ate in all but one night. Savored a local breakfast as well as dinner at Merriman’s, yoga and the farmers market.
