Value for Money

Pros: Clean comfortable friendly helpful staff
Cons: a bit noisy from other guests
Location: close to Kamloops - wildlife park, beaches, sports etc.
It was getting late in Kamloops and I didn't fancy driving home, so I began to look for a motel. I picked this one due to location (east and out of town a bit on Trans Canada). Since I was simply in need of a bed and a TV - I didn't look for fancy - I opted for budget. As budget motels go this was good - sparsely furnished but comfortable with fridge and microwave and very clean.

Good price, room nice , breakfast awful

The breakfast that came with the room was not appealing at all. But the room was fine and we had a room at the back so it was very quiet .

Tolerable but Disapointing

Pros: The Room was Clean. Included Breakfast was Good.
Cons: Air Quality
Location: Easy access to all needed Kamloops amenities
Was disappointed by the size of the room especially the bathroom. The room was clean but had an old closed up dank smell that was not pleasant to be in. OK for a quick stop over but certainly not for an extended stay.

Not so super

Room smelled horrible - beds are dated - breakfast was the worst ever. Staying in my car woulda been better...

Great value in off season

Pros: Price and comfort - small room but had everything I needed.
Cons: The small pool area looks a little unappealing on the side of the parking lot with a huge chain link fence around it. Don't need in off season anyway.
Location: Need a vehicle here but every amenity is just a few kilometers away.
Very comfy newer bed with new bedding, clean, quiet - you can hear the white noise of the Trans Canada highway and trains but it is not disturbing. Place was quiet although there weren't many people there. Room had cold fridge, microwave, new flat screen TV. Sink area was renovated. It's an older place but in nice shape. I was happy to stay and not have to pay an exorbitant price just for a night's sleep. Easy to book online. No surprise extra charges and a simple self-serve breakfast included. I would definitely stay again.

motel operation

Pros: clean
Cons: Customer service
Location: Did not effect us. Only over night stay
When checking in were told of continental breakfast at 6:30am. No person present in motel office after10:30. Rang bell no answer. Got up in morning went to breakfast area no person present and door locked. Checked office and no person present in office. Rang outside buzzer no answer. Left motel. Very noisy during night with trucks on service road.

Better than expected

Just filled out the card, showed id for reservation and we were on our way. Friendly and curtious at the desk. For both check in and out. Simple but comfortable amenities and bedding seemed upgraded, nice.

Forgotten stuff

Forgot my memory foam pillow in the room when I checked out. Realized this when I checked in to next hotel in Victoria. Called hotel in Kamloops right away and inquired. Was informed that I had left it behind, but yet no one called me to let me know.....a whole day and no one phoned. But they knew of it when I phoned.
