« It is my second stay at Galavilla. I love this place so much. I was happy that the hotel is well developt. I feel as a home. The morning view form the room is realy breathtaking. The hotel is open around 5 years but still everythings is as new.I never see it in another hotels in Sri Lanka. I can recomend everyone who like nature and relax. »

Si l'on veut chercher les petits défauts on peut dire que l'entourage de l'hotel n'est pas impecable ( maisons en très mauvais états autour ( mais n'oublions pas que nous sommes au Sri lanka pays très pauvre ) , les plats sont parfois un peu froid , les excursions de l'hôtel un peu cher . »

It s located well outside Kandy and which was great after the visit of Kandy town with all the traffic and noises. Coming back to the hotel was so relaxing . The room is quite big and very clean. « Chambre petite, sans aucun charme mais avec grand balcon donnant sur le lac. Côté restauration, les assises des chaises sont très tachées et malheureusement ça se remarque. Le diner pris à l'hôtel avec mon guide était correct mais longue attente pour le service. La présence du serveur qui attend pour débarrasser n'est pas agréable. Cet hôtel est de catégorie 2,5 étoiles et cela ne vaut vraiment pas plus. Les prix pratiqués dans cet établissement sont trop chers. »

« Surrounded by beautiful rice fields, wilderness and Peacocks this is an ideal place for who seeks a secure place for rest and respite. The hotel staff was amazingly nice and ready help. Those who travel from East like Trincomalee or Arugambay this would be an ideal rest stop. My meals by a la carte were delicious. Special thank to Food and Beverage Manager (sorry forgot the name) for his recommendations. »

« Le couple est parfait, d'une grande gentillesse. Le petit déjeuner local est très bon et copieux. Par contre, l'hôtel en lui-même est un peu dans son jus, il est resté bloqué dans les années 90\. Pas de bouteille d'eau de bienvenue, rien pour la douche... »

« The place was absolutely beautiful. Our room had stunning views and the facilities overall were excellent, new and very well maintained. The food was great, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. We also did a trekking tour organized by them, which turned out to be a wonderful experience. This is truly a fantastic place that I highly recommend to anyone visiting Sri Lanka, far away from the chaos and mass tourism. »
