The staff was great, and our room was clean. The only minute area that was inconvenient was that breakfast wasn't until 7am. We choose Holiday Inn Expresses for what they offer and are very pleased. For us we are chasing sporting activities that our kids are involved in and usually it's up at 6am and out the door by 7am. With a 7am breakfast we had to purchase breakfast offsite. It's an added cost that we generally don't have when choosing a Holiday Inn Express.

The staff was great. Breakfast was awesome as is the breakfast attendant. Someone ran at all hours above us and the smell of marijuana on our floor was bad. But overall we enjoy the Holiday Inn in Hastings.

Ruth thank you for responding to our survey. I am glad you enjoyed your stay and enjoyed the breakfast. I do apologize for the smell of marijuana in the hallways. We are a non-smoking facility, but people still break the rules. We do our best to stop it when notified. We hope to see you again!

Was looking forward to sitting in a hot tub but this location didnt have one. Over all it was a pleasant stay.

This is a very nice property and has a good breakfast. The cook is very nice and works hard to put out the best meal. she is always there to say hi and make sure you are happy.

The fee of $50 for a pet in a “pet friendly “ hotel is a bit steep as most pets who travel with their owners are house trained, other than that my stay was great.

Carol thank you for the feedback. The additional charge is for the extra cleaning we have to do. The carpet is shampooed and there are additional steps we have to take for people with allergies. Thank you for giving us great review.

Stay was good. Didn’t realize the pool wasn’t heated. Got fresh towels and trash emptied, but that was it during stay. Beds did not get refreshed. Otherwise stay was great!!!

Jennie thank you for taking the time to respond to the survey. I apologize for us missing refreshing your beds while you stayed with us. We do have a heated pool; we keep it between 82-84 degrees. If we have just added water sometimes it takes a few hours to get back to temperature. I am glad you enjoyed your stay even though we missed the mark on a few things.

This was one of the cleanest hotels I have ever stayed in. Everything was pristine! The staff was friendly and accommodating. The breakfast area was extremely clean, the food was very good and a very personable lady named Patsy was making sure guests needs were all met in the breakfast area. I would definitely stay here again!

Very happy with customer service, they answered my call when I called to confirm my reservation, as well as when the gps had us turned around , the young lady helped get us on the right road , from the time we came to the time we left all went great! They cleaned our room daily, the breakfast was delicious and the staff was always very helpful and kind ! Definitely will be a place we will go to stay at when we visit Michigan again! Thank you !
