Right in the middle of Kona, It is walking distance to all of the local restaurants, coffee shops, galleries, churches, and farmers market. This unit is located on the 3rd floor and has a queen size bed, 55" tv and free Wifi The kitchen has a full size refrigerator & sink, but there is no stove. It has an electric skillet, Hot Plate with Pots/Pans, Toaster, Microwave and Crock Pot for cooking. The resort is probably around fifty years old. Grounds and buildings are well maintained but there is probably enough parking for about half of the units. We parked our car in the late afternoon and used Uber for any evening excursions. The unit was clean and furniture comfortable but there is no dresser or closet for clothing. Great value for the money. Farmers market within 5 min walking distance. The small beach located on the other side of the complex is great for sunset watching if you return to the condo earlier. I want to mention that parking is not a problem. Yes, there are no assigned parking spaces but you can park either on the street above the complex or to the right side. It only takes 3-4 min to get back to the condo. It is no different than getting a room at a resort. There are no parking spots next to your room. Most resorts you have to walk at least 5-10 from the parking spot. Have no fear rent this place. It is worth every penny. Sign in was an ordeal trying to track down the owner to verify, etc. Then i learn there was no elevator. It would have been good to know there was no elevator up front.
