Apr 1, 2024 #### AVERAGE ACCOMMODATION The location in Kona is Great. And that's about it. The room is super simple. I found it super odd that the kitchen is basically the bathroom. They share a sink. So we have cutting boards and drying dishes next to our toothbrushes and make up. It is like they turned a decent sized bathroom into a super tiny bathroom and a almost useless kitchen. Saw lots of cockroaches around our unit and whole hotel. The bbq by the pool was actually really good and well maintained but there are no tools to cook with and little to no room to prepare the rest of the meal. The parking situation was also wild. Way more cars then available spots. So most days we came back from daily adventures there were no spots and have to find parking far away. Staff at the place were moderately helpful nothing super notable for customer care. Basically there is lots of accommodation options in Kona and I would not hurry back to this place or recommend it to any of my friends as a must stay place. If you are desperate this place will do but for less than a hundred dollars more a night there are plenty of better options where you'll find value for your dollar. Also I called the vicasa customer service line to ask about an issue with the room upon our arrival, and he was not very helpful over the phone. Also no simple amenities like coffee or tea. It was nice to have the air conditioner and a ceiling fan both in the living room and in the kitchen area.
