You will be located in a great area of Kona! Free high speed WI-FI, Queen bed, Cable TV, Full size Fridge and kitchenet with light cooking supplies, coffee maker, toaster, microwave, full bathroom (tub & shower), closet, Sitting area. There is coin operated washer & dryer in the entry way. Outside picnic table table and a BBQ for those who like to grill. Also beach Towles, chairs and supplies There is plenty of private off street parking behind the home. The home is situated so that you get the ocean breezes and can hear the waves crashing on the shoreline when the surf is up. We are between Magic Sands Beach and Snorkel Beach (Kahalu'u beach) right off of Popular Ali'i drive one home up across street from Ocean. Both are within walking distance if you just want to hang out at local Beaches. Conveniently one mile away from Keauhou shopping center. Grocery store, Drug store, Restaurants, L&Ls, Sushi, Thai food, Mexican, Subway, Shaved Ice. Post office, Theater, Medical facility's, and a farmers market on Saturday mornings. They even have music and dance performances on some weekends. You have the beach front town of Kona 5 minutes north on Alii Dr. Tons of shops to browse through, restaurants bars etc. Locations to sign up for activities such as a luau, tours, snorkeling trips, surf lessons, submarine rides, Charters for Big Game fishing and much much more along ocean front Kona. Don't forget about the newer Brew block area as well. There is two transit systems that run by on Alii dr. and bike rental stations making them very accessible. Kona has beautiful sunsets. You will see the locals and tourists alike parked along Ali'i drive to watch for the green flash sunsets. Good neighbor policy/Quit hrs. shall be from 9pm to 8am, Noise shall not be unreasonable to disturb adjacent neighbors. Sounds that goes beyond property boundaries during quit hrs. shall not be excessive. No smoking on property. Some more Basic information Washer dryer is coin operated. I start you out with some simple bar soap, toilet papers, paper towel roll, there are usually some extra supplies that circulate and are still useful (plus a share table in the entry way). If you have a long stay it is your responsibility to buy what extras, you might need. Please make sure to wash/dry and put away all dishes used. Late check out when might have an extra fee. Check-in process was very easy and accommodating. My room was very clean and had a host of extra amenities which were very helpful for a trip to Hawaii (beach towels, extra towels, soaps, sheets, coolers, beach chairs, boogie boards etc). It was easy to tell that this property has received plenty of attention and care over the years.This property is in an ideal location near two beaches and not far from town in a quiet neighborhood. It also has easy access to the highways nearby. This means that it is also possible to hear the ocean at night which was amazing. It's within walking distance of 2 beaches and close driving distance to a shopping mall with all you could need. It was nice to come back to a calmer area at the end of the day after visiting the busier ones. I was glad we rented a vehicle to get around the island, but there is a convinent hourly bus that stops near the property and goes all the way to the Kona airport if you don't mind adjusting your schedule on it. The place was nice and clean, and the host was super helpful with suggesting places to see and things to do during our stay. Also very easy to contact and responsive. Plenty of room for a couple. No A/C but room remained extremely comfortable with blinds and windows opened. Great location. Easy walk either to Magic Sands Beach for swimming/meal/drinks or to Kahalu’u Beach Park for snorkling. So happy Isaac provided beach towels, beach chairs, coolers and snorkling equipment. Previous, reviews about road noise left me concerned. My husband and I stayed from a Saturday to a Tuesday. Yes, we could hear road noise during day but it was not very loud. Did not notice road noise at all during night while sleeping. Roosters on other parts of island are much noisier! Did not hear any roosters at this location. ##### Anne S. Close to a snorkel beach and also a place to see the sunset. There were lots of beach toys for use, including chairs, snorkel equipment and boogie boards. Even water shoes for walking on the lava to enter the ocean. Kitchen was adequate for my needs (hot plate, microwave, toaster and refrigerator. ) When I inadvertantly tripped a breaker by using the microwave and hot plate at the same time it was fixed quickly. Internet was fine. There is some road noise from Ali’i drive and I could hear what I guess was the tv from the upstairs unit, but it wasn’t enough to bother my sleep in the comfy bed.
