This 2nd floor unit of Kona Plaza is a 1 bedroom, 1 bath property that has gorgeous finishes. All Luxury Vinyl Plank flooring throughout, Spectacular Remodeled Bathroom with Walk in Shower, Beautifully appointed kitchen with granite countertops and furnishings!
Unit#210 sleeps 4 & features a King Sized Bed & Sleeper Sofa.

There is a HUGE lanai/balcony for your comfort. Relax & watch all of the exciting activity in the heart of Ali'i Drive below. (Cruise ships, sight-seeing boats, outrigger canoes, and fishing boats---All can be watched from this gem of a Lanai.) Kona Village closes down by 9:00 PM, so after nine the only thing you will hear from the Lanai are the ocean waves.

This perfectly located gem has everything you need for a stay of a few days or several months. This is the type of location you actually would not have to have a car in Kona.

Inside walls between units are 12 inch thick concrete which makes this condo very quite and peaceful. This unit has everything you need for a fun stay.

Kona Plaza Condominium Complex has a great pool with lounge chairs & 2 BBQ decks with great views of the ocean/mountain.

Amazing time in Kona Hawaii!

The property is right in the heart of downtown Kona and surrounded by shops & restaurants, the beach and much more! The condo was perfect for me and my husband. We will definitely stay here again during our next Kona trip!

Great location, within walking distance of beach, restaurants and shops. Unit is nicely appointed and welcome gifts were thoughtful and appreciated. Plenty of beach equipment and gear, even a wagon and ice chest. Area is quiet and bed is comfortable.

Loved the location to restaurants and walking about down town. Complex is in need of some updating. Parking garage is a bit scary. Our unit was sufficient for our needs but could use a bit of updating as it is a bit worn looking.

Perfect Location

This is the perfect place to stay to attend/compete in the Ironman. This unit was solid, had everything we needed, but could have used a little bit of additional care. It was not dirty or in bad shape but it just felt old and had some areas that could have been better (like a closet door with a paint stain on it). We have seen other units in the same complex that just gave a lighter, newer, cleaner overall feel. Again, we didn't have any issues with staying there and you cannot beat the location and convenience, and it has plenty of space.

We overall loved this property, it included lots of extras like boogie boards, snorkel gear, beach chairs etc. It was clean and nice. The cons - the air conditioning didnt work very well and didnt cool off the whole place. Also the bed wasnt the most comfortable. But we would book again.

Great Stay

Condo had everything you would want for a perfect staycation; comfortable king bed, wonderful a/c and perfect location! Good communication w/Property Mgt. There was some maintenance ongoing in parking garage during our stay, but still ample stalls available. The complex residents were so friendly and helpful too! Hope to stay here again!

Great place in a great location

Amazing place with EVERYTHING you could ask for in Hawaiian rental. We were welcomed by a complementary waters, juices, and a very generous gift basket with toiletries and snacks! The place was clean and very inviting. The kitchen while small had everything you could possibly need (including ice trays and a PUR water filter. The lanai was huge and very comfy with enough seats to comfortably sit about 8 people! The beach gear (seats, beach wagon, cooler, boogie boards, paddle boards, snorkel gear, towels, etc.) was in great shape and greatly appreciated. The location is great in the heart of Ali'i Drive. The booking progress was a little intimidating with forms to fill out (mostly providing details about the rules of the complex) but that should not draw you away from this great place.

Great apartment, contracting needs attention

The apartment is clean, spacious, comfortable. It is exceptionally well positioned in central Kailua village. However, I didn’t like the process by which a signed contract was required after the booking had been made and a non-refundable deposit paid. As a regular user of another homestay app I have never been required to sign a contract separate from their standard terms and conditions. The booking process on Stayz did not flag that a contract would be required, and especially not one to be signed in 16 different spots and which had internal inconsistencies. Issuing a contract after taking a non-refundable deposit is a high pressure tactic and probably not an enforceable arrangement, but who wants to argue when put it in that situation?

Everything you need

The apartment was very clean, very well equipped, including beach and snorkeling gear, right in the middle of the city, private parking, and with a nice “welcome package” of little snacks, coffee, etc. The management company is useless other than generating pages of frightening contracts to sign, but trying to contact them for assistance after 4pm on Friday, forget it. Fortunately, there are some very nice and helpful residents.

My condo had everything we needed. We felt like we were at home. They provided everything we needed for our week stay. Alot of extras on the back porch for the beach so we didnt need to pay to rent anything. Very nice, clean, and we would love to come back.

Property was exactly how it was pictured. Nicely appointed. It’s a very old complex and the owners did an ok job fixing it up. Bed slept really good. Wi-Fi is included plus cable tv, Netflix, HBO Max and Disney + , which was nice. It’s fine for what we paid. It is walking distance to all the Ali’i Drive restaurants. My biggest complaint was the check in procedure. We were given the wrong door code (changed that day). I called Knutson Management company and after several calls, I was taken care of a very rude, condescending young man, that got woken up around 10:00 ish and was obvious after all the yawning and asking me if I’d ever used a door code. You punch the correct numbers in, period. Anyway, we got the correct code. Knutson did refund us the first night stay.

The condo was in great shape except for the kitchen. The kitchen was a little small & enclosed. The kitchen had everything you need to cook a meal . The condo was a block away from all the shops, restaurants and the ocean. Also a good size lanai.

Kona-mazing Condo!

First family trip to Kona, and this condo helped make it an amazing trip! The location is hard to beat...we have a 3-yo and we were able to walk everywhere we wanted (shops, restaurants, beaches). The condo is updated and was very, very clean and well stocked with everything you need for an unforgettable day at the beach (towels, snorkeling gear, toys, wagon, and more!). The complex has an amazing deck for a BBQ and ocean views, and a cute little pool. Communication and customer service with the property management company was great! There is also secured parking, elevators and A/C...all of which are great conveniences to have in Hawaii. We will be back for sure!!!
