Your host lives upstairs. Your's is a new two bedroom, one bath unit, with a full sized kitchen and adjoining dining area. . There is a large lanai viewing the ocean with plenty of relaxing chairs and an outside dining area. You will be a 7 minute walk to Honl's beach and 22 minutes to downtown Kona. The place was very lovely, comfortable, spacious and felt like home. If you want a fancy hotel, this is not that but it is not advertised or priced as such. Well stocked kitchen, nice dining table and big sofa and TV. We didn't use the hot tub as it was too warm outside, but we did use and enjoyed the outdoor shower. There is no AC, but except for the middle of the afternoon, we were fine without it- everything cooled off at night. I am not sure what it would be like in the summer, however- we were there in December. We liked the location, close to several beaches. Lovely Lanai seating area with dining table, lounge chairs and plenty of space to hang up wet clothing and towels. Neighborhood felt very safe. I would stay here again! ##### Carol W.
