You could walk out to multiple shopping and dining options. Our unit was well furnished in kitchen and beach acutriments. The bed was not comfortable. And putting a sqishy piece of foam on a mediocre matress does not help. Sheets and coverings lumped up and slid around. And a small item, but for this price you shouldnt need to but TP. But overall we liked it. No key or code to enter the unit. No communication or help. Office closed, no email, telephone or text response; just crickets. Kona is a small town and doesn't have alternative hotels to stay at short notice. Slept in rental car. Worst start to a vacation in all my life. Spent the second day of vacation finding another place to stay. Read the website and they do mention they don't have to honor the reservation even if it's the day of arrival. Zero communication even after I continued to try and contact them. Then they fraudulently charged me for a stay after not honoring it.
