Beautiful oceanside balcony where we had breakfast every morning; corner unit so it was quiet: well appointed for cooking at home; clean, firm beds with fans in both bedrooms. Sizable bathrooms and quiet doors - which sounds like a small thing! But if you wake up early like me, it means you can move around silently without waking up your kids ;) all in all a great stay - we loved walking downtown for coffee in the morning. The view was spectacular, kitchen was well stocked with most things we needed. It is close to downtown, shopping and restaurants, yet far enough away from most of the nighttime noise associated with the main tourist areas. The property had a few areas that could use some updating, but the pool area was very well maintained and pleasant to spend time in. We watched whales and dolphins from our lanai in the morning while we enjoyed our breakfast. The condo was bright and comfortable and well equipped. Kona Reef offers a wonderful pool and hot tub area. A great way to relax after a day of exploring. The location is perfect - walkable to beaches, shopping, dining.
