Located on the 3rd floor of the lovely Kailua Bay Resort complex, you’ll be within walking distance of Kamakahonu Beach, snorkeling in Kailua Bay, luaus and historical sites, and an incredible array of shops and eateries. A post office, bank, and pharmacy locations are just around the corner. Check out the locally grown produce and handmade crafts at the outdoor Kona Farmers Market.

This home offers the utmost comfort with air-conditioning units and a new ceiling fan and lights on the lanai. Stylistic details and local touches include a reclaimed koa wood headboard, a sugi wood accent wall, and antique Hawaiian furnishings and artwork. The open-plan living area has high ceilings and incredible natural light. Unwind while watching your favorite shows on the 55” cable TV equipped with a DVD player. Kohala-Kona great location

This condo is within walking distance of many restaurants and tourist spots. I never did see the pool and there was no info in the condo to tell you how to use the pool. So, you have to really look for it. I did want to use the pool, so I was sad about that.

Not a bad experience but not the best.

After traveling 13 hours, we were all tired and ready to get in the house. It took us 40 minutes to get in due to the code that was given to us didn’t work. After texting back and forth, they finally gave us an actual key to use to enter the house. The first floor AC & shower did not work while we were there. However, the location was great. You can walk to stores and restaurants and it is very close to KOA airport.

Overall, the rental was very good. Inside the unit was very modern and very clean. Plenty of nice towels for bathing as well as beach towels and anything else you need. They left toiletries and a gift basket, which was a nice touch. Kitchen was pretty well equipped, we didn’t cook much, but when we did, there was everything we needed. The main issue was check-in. The information from Vacasa was completely inaccurate. They didn’t tell us where to park or how to walk around the building to find the unit. The information they gave us to access. The unit was completely incorrect. It was almost like they sent us the information for a completely different unit. we had to call and then they provided a solution over the phone. But my son and I were dripping sweat trying to figure it out. Climbing up and down three stories with a suitcase wasn’t great but we managed. Overall, it was a nice apartment and we would definitely definitely stay there again.

Really liked the property and area. Easy access to downtown. Only thing I would like to see is that total cost, that is VRBO charge and cleaning and taxes all be included in total price. Don't t like surprises of this and that added later after I've committed to a property. Mahalo H&M

Great Condo

The condo is spotless, quiet, and comfortable, and our stay was great. The listing doesn't tell you where the parking spot is though, and it took a call and a few texts to find out (#56, FYI). The parking spot is suitable for a regular-sized vehicle - if your car rental agency sticks you with a large vehicle, be prepared to get creative. Also, I'd recommend that the kitchen knives be sharpened, and some pantry basics be provided - salt & pepper, olive oil. But these are all small things. We'd stay here again - the location is great, the unit was perfectly sized and furnished, and again - spotless.

2022 Kona

The condo was a wonderful home base for a month. We walked to the beach, shops, and restaurants every day. Our infant granddaughter enjoyed her first swim in the Pacific Ocean. The unit is quiet, clean, roomy, and cool. It was our 7th Kona visit and best lodging. We would buy it if it was for sale.

Good, not great

The condo was clean, but there's a certain amount of wear and tear that cleanliness can't deal with - for example, the area rug in the living room has some small but permanent stains. The cookware was cheap but very clean and new. The beds were comfortable, and the showers were good. We appreciated both the air conditioning and the many fans. The lanai was minimal, with no way to stretch out on it. The view was peek-a-boo, but nice to have something. No problems with noise.

Nice place with a great location, a few repairs needed

The place was clean and was in a great location, close to lots of restaurants and stores. There are a few items that need repair or replacement. The upstairs shower handle is loose and needs to be fixed, the pillows were flat and uncomfortable and the dishwasher didn't clean well. Also, there was only one frying pan. Overall this was a decent place to stay.

Peek-a-Boo Views

The condo was good for us as it was clean, well located, well supplied, and had a nice balcony with peek-a-boo views of the ocean. It was an easy walk to Ali'i Dr. with restaurants, shops, and beaches. The traffic noise was sometimes loud. We didn't use the pool and grill area as its location was not convenient. We recommend this condo.

Walking distance to all Allii restaurants. Not sure about the upstairs loft as it was quite hot up there. I think this a great rental for a couple.
