I liked the view of the Ocean, there is a road between you and the water, but not that noisy early morning or late evening. Room was a bit dated, but clean. Short drive to Magic Sands beach, or to downtown Kona. I really enjoyed my morning coffee on the lanai, and when at the room at the end of day, the Sunset, again, from the lanai. Awesome 10 days! The unit, however, could have been better. I like to mostly eat in when I am in Kona, and the kitchen was not well stocked in some ways, and overstocked in others. I couldn’t find a bowl to make salad, so used one of the three rice makers instead. The description of the unit did not include that the unit had a blender, which would have been nice to know ahead of time, as would have knowing that the unit had a washer and dryer. There was a dirty sock in the closet when I got there, and the whole closet was grimy. The closet doors seem to be original equipment, and fell off the runners several times. In all, this is an average unit in a very nice location. Some attention to detail in the listing, cleaning and updating could make a huge difference. ##### LeeAnne C.
