It was a very good space for meals, relaxing and there's plenty of bathrooms for everyone. There's a king master suite on the main level, which is good for older folks who don't do stairs well. The upstairs has 3 bedrooms and an upper patio which is good for watching sunset. We loved the beach chairs which was we used often. You can walk to snorkeling spots or the body surfing beach from here. There's a path to get right to magic sands avoiding the road. I would love to come back another year and enjoy this home set in paradise. ##### X C. Our flight arrived very early and we were able to arrange an earlier check-in, which was very appreciated. The property itself is in a very quiet neighborhood, super close to Magic Sands beach, and has a great backyard space. Note - the neighbor does not tolerate ANY noise after quiet hours so if you're in the hot tub, make sure to talk very quietly. The bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious and had all the necessities we'd expect in a rental home.I only had two disappointments with this rental: the living room furniture and the lack of kitchen essentials. For a house this size, boasting a guest count of 10, the living room only seats 4 people. This isn't very fun with a larger group because some have to sit at the dining room table or on the tile floor. The kitchen is understocked with glasses, cutlery, and plates/cookware for a group of 10\. I was running the dishwasher after every 2 meals so that we had enough plates and cookware for the next meal. We also bought some essentials like plastic wrap, baggies, kitchen scissors, and such so that we could pack food for when we were out of the house, and left the remainders for those who came after us. I know not everyone cooks on their vacation as much as we did, but we wanted to keep costs down, so having a well-stocked kitchen would have been nice.Overall this was a good house and we loved the location! ##### Kelli R. One of the highlights for us was the hot tub—it made a huge difference after a long day to sit back and unwind. The 4th full bath helped, especially with so many people constantly needing showers after the beach. The entire place was spotless, with clean linens and lots of bath and beach towels. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed to prepare meals for a large group. Proximity to the beach and surfing + snorkeling made it easy for the kids to enjoy the beach whenever they liked. The whole house was clean. All of the linens (including provided beach towels) bathrooms & kitchen were spotless. The decor was tasteful and the kitchen was stocked with all the utensils, pots, pans, etc. we needed for cooking & grilling. A clean sponge, coffee filters, a few rolls of paper towels, trash bags, dish detergent & dishwasher and laundry pods were provided. Basic travel sized soap, body wash, shampoo & about 1/2 week worth of tp. The a/c in the bedrooms was nice, but the ceiling fans in every room provided relief from the heat. Forget Magic Sands. We found amazing snorkeling at Kahalu’u Beach Park which was a short drive away. The kitchen is well stocked - everything you could need is there. Well, we did go to Good Will and got a slow cooker. The entertainmnet supplies and beach equipment was nice. Previous guests didn't always clean up the sand. Hopfuly we left it better than we receied it. Management was quick to assist us when we needed it. This home is well equipped if you're traveling with little children. I definitely would recommend this for a group or family gathering. ##### Beth B. Lots of beach towels, snorkelling stuff, boogie boards, etc for the beach. We enjoyed our stay! Worked well for 4 couples, everyone had their own space. Suggestions for improvement would be adding another fridge for beverages etc for a group of 7 adults it would have been well used! We made things work but noted this would have improved our experience. We were asked to do several loads of laundry to get the towels started but were only supplied with 2 laundry pods. Information on where to recycling would be helpful. We googled and found a place but info on what to do and where To go would be appreciated ❤️ All in all a wonderful stay and we will be back! ##### Mark M. Perfect for families. We made big dinners and enjoyed the yard games and hanging out on the lanai in the evenings. Perfect spot to vacation like a local in comfort and style. Great location, just off the Ali’s, close to beaches, shops, and short drive to just about everything in Kailua Kona. Easy contactless check in and super responsive team. Nice master bedroom downstairs for us old people and 3 nice bedrooms upstairs. Master and one upstairs bedroom had a sofa bed, so property could have easily accommodated 12\. Near the airport and shopping. Only negative would be the solar hot water heater. With 9 adults and a baby returning from the beach at the same time, hot water went very quickly. We had to learn to space showers out. There were lots of toys and amenities left in the garage for our use. They were appreciated. ##### Gary M. And a new hot tub which wasn’t in the ad either. We had some plumbing issues also but they addressed it promptly.and had it fixed. All in all our stay with our family was extremely nice and we were all comfortable ##### Debra S. Séjour de 7 nuits en septembre 2021 ### 4/10 – Médiocre #### Kimberly A. 8 août 2021 #### Very hot and only w/in "walking distance" to Beach if you like to walk a LOT! The house was NOT what I would call convenient to any beach. You would have to walk quite a distance along a very busy stretch to get to a tiny, overcrowded spot of sand. The house was extremely hot and the window a/c in the bedrooms are on timers - some would only work for 15 minutes at a time - the most for an hour. The "lush" backyard was bereft of any hedges or trees and had clear sightlines to the neighbors next door. There was a hot tub which no one used because it was soooo hot already.
