Beautiful condo on the ocean

Great condo on the water. The lanai and living spaces are bright and have amazing views. It is fun to watch the surfers and whales far in the distance. I would have liked to see the carpet replaced with a solid surface and have a couple extra pillow cases. Great stay!

Gorgeous views and sunsets

This Kailua-Kona condo has breathtaking ocean views with surfers at the crack of dawn and at sun down. Views were truly worth a million dollars. Location - just minutes from the main strip, with easy access to shopping & dining. While the condo is somewhat dated & presents an incredible opportunity for some renovations, but the stunning views can make up for the areas that are lacking within the condo. The bldg grounds were well kept and also had stunning views by the pool.

I booked based on the view which did not disappoint. Loved watching the surfers everyday and the sunset! Quiet too. Good location for making day trips all over the island. Plus the unit has everything, towels, chairs, cooler and snorkel gear.

Very nice condo. Spectacular views. Responsive owner. Well stocked kitchen and bedding, although we could have used a working can opener and a soup ladle. The market across the street would have been nice, but it was closed for repairs (with no notice). The hot tub appeared to be closed, but we never got around to calling the owner to ask. It was a joy to watch the surfers out the huge picture window.

Beautiful place to wake up to every morning and enjoy the spectacular views and return to after a busy day to breath taking sunsets! There was one maintenance problem with a broken garbage disposal and outlet.

Good location - not too far from central activity nor too close. We enjoyed the near all day surfing activity which peaked early am and just before dusk. The amenities were perfect for our stay.

Fun and relaxing

The location was great; close to Kailua but not in the center of town where all the crowds were. You can sit on the balcony and watch the surfers each morning and evening.

Perfect home in Kona

Banyon Tree was ideal: morning coffee on the Lania watching the surfers below, easy access up and down the coast. The condo was extremely well equipped, with good kitchen, beach & snorkling toys, even a good first aid kit.
