This Hawaiian theme studio is a permitted short term rental unit located a short block from world famous Kailua Bay. Less than two miles to charming Kailua Town with boutique shops, cafes, restaurants, bars, breweries. Whole Foods, Japan Express and much more. Our accommodation has all the modern comfort features such as Split System A/C, 42” TV, Washer/Dryer, Apartment Size Refrigerator, Coffee Maker, Toaster, and Microwave. It saved me the trouble of doing laundry every day.The electric heater was not powerful enough to boil water, so we made ramen in the microwave. We also used a measuring cup to boil water by microwave. Hooray for microwaves!The only thing that bothered us was the sound leakage. We could hear the voices and sounds of the owner's family in the next room. A suggestion is that you might consider renting a smaller vehicle as the driveway for parking is narrow and you need to navigate past 2 parked vehicles. We were grateful for the recliner chairs as we rested in the evening before sleep. Andrea is the perfect host making sure all our needs were met. Andrea, onsite owner, was very responsive to any questions and went out of her way to help us and make the stay comfortable. The bed is comfortable, very soft. Andrea met us when we arrived and gave us the keys and showed us the unit. The unit was very well equipped with everything we would need for a beach outing - great folding chairs, bags, boogie boards, snorkels. The bed and recliners were very comfortable. Everything was as advertised.
