This 2 bedroom cottage has been totally renovated inside with modern appliances. Unlimited Fibre Broadband is included. The main bedroom has a queen bed and sliding doors to outdoors. The other bedroom also has a queen bed. Ideal for kids with a large area to run around. Fishermen will be happy with off street parking for a boat and car. This cottage backs onto reserve land. While I now see that we were told there would be no tea towels there was nothing to wipe a bench with. there was nowhere to hang clothing or to store them . My only real criticism of this property is essentially a cautionary one. It concerns the unusual step spanning across the entire junction space between the living room and the kitchen. It is most counterintuitive to have to step (15cm or so, in fact) down from the living area as required here, and it is easy at first to forget to do so at first. I stumbled several times, as did my partner. I could see the structural reasons for the step because of the need for the kitchen ceiling and roofline to follow that of the original dwelling to which the kitchen has surely been added. A warning to watch this unusual step is nevertheless warranted. We had to air it out for 2 days and it was still there. We could tell the place was not cleaned prior to our arrival. The bathroom had hair all over the sink, the floor was filthy and you could tell it had been awhile since it was cleaned.
