This property is professionally managed by Ali'i Beach Rentals, an award-winning property management company. This is an exceptional vacation rental located on the world famous North Shore of O'ahu within the Turtle Bay Resort area, which is in close proximity to world class north shore beaches such as Sunset Beach, Velzyland, and Pipeline. This exclusive gated community of Kuilima Estates East features 2 refreshing swimming pools (one of which is less than a minute walk from this condo), tennis courts, free parking, ample guest parking, three ACs, and free WiFi are among the many amenities awaiting you in this veritable paradise. This condo has been tastefully renovated and is well appointed. If you're searching around for other properties, you may be able to tell from the photos that this condo is more desirable than 90% of the other Kuilima Condos you may find, and its location within the property means it is a much closer walk to the Turtle Bay Resort and beaches than many of the other Kuilima Estates condos. Located within the Turtle Bay Resort area, this condo is next to the world famous Turtle Bay Arnold Palmer golf course as well as the George Fazio course, both of which will delight any golf enthusiast. This beautiful condo is located on the 2nd floor, one flight of steps to the front door. The master bedroom on the main floor has a comfortable queen bed, smart TV and window AC. The upstairs loft has its own full bathroom, split AC, and queen bed along with a single bed. Because it is a loft, this second bedroom has no door but a wall has been added for more privacy. Having an AC in the loft is important because these Kuilima lofts can get very warm and most of the lofts don’t have their own AC. The living room has a split AC, large smart TV, queen sofa bed and an airy lanai where you can sit and enjoy the stunning view of the garden landscaping. Also on the main floor there is an open kitchen with an island countertop, as well as the 2nd full bathroom and a washer and dryer in the hallway. If you do decide to venture out of this amazing oasis many dining options await you! Turtle Bay Resort is a short walk away where you can spend the day at the spa and find chef Roy Yamaguchi's Beach House restaurant, Lei Lei's Bar and Grill, The Point Sunset and Pool Bar (arguably the best place on the island for a sunset cocktail), and Off The Lip. Nearby there are tons of delicious food truck options in Kahuku, which is known for its incredible shrimp farms, where you can eat delicious farm to table shrimp plates. If you prefer staying home to cook your meals, there are 2 different Foodland markets in either direction from Turtle Bay. The North Shore is commonly referred to as a Mecca for the world's best surfers who make their annual pilgrimage to its pristine, awe inspiring beaches. The most famous wave on earth, the absolutely mesmerizing Banzai Pipeline is less than 5 miles away and warrants spending a day at the beach taking in its awe inspiring power. If your timing is impeccable, nearby Waimea Bay may be breaking if the swell is large enough. Having a picnic on the beach and watching some of the biggest waves on earth break nearby is an absolute must during the winter months! In the summer months, the waves are generally smaller which makes it perfect for snorkeling or other exciting ocean activities. If you are in the mood to shop or explore more, Hale'iwa town is a mere 12 miles away and has countless shops and dining options. Thermostat did not work so condo was cold during our entire stay. Screen door was broken too. Master bedroom mattress was uncomfortable. We walked a short distance to a great beach with very few people. Watching the tide and an elephant seal taking a nap was priceless. Parking right below the condo and a short walk to the pool. Area is very quiet with not much going on which is great for a quiet retreat. You will need to walk to the resort or drive to get to any other shops, eateries, coffee, etc.. It's right on the golf course so has ample opportunities for walks including a short hike across the course to the beach. Place had everything needed for our short 3 night stay. A few things you should know: 1\. There is no real oven. Only a convection oven which is part of the microwave. 2\. The furniture looks great in photos, but most are Amazon flimsy so be careful. 3\. A few maintenance items - tub is slow to drain, downstairs bathroom plug does not work, upstairs bathroom towel rack was broken. 4\. We never received a community gate code so when we pulled up, didn't know how to get in. Luckily, we were with somebody that had rented another place in the community so we used their code to get in. Make sure you ask for the gate code prior to arriving. Overall a solid 4 star place in a quiet secluded area which is great for a quiet trip or getaway but still close enough to resort activities.
