The penthouse on the 12th floor was fantastic. The amazing unobstructed ocean view was gorgeous and we really enjoyed the beautiful sunsets. The location is excellent, making it easy to explore the area. I would recommend this to anyone wanting a romantic getaway or celebrating a special occasion. Amy was a great host and responsive regarding questions. In addition to spending time at Royal Kahana’s pool deck with ocean views, we enjoy visiting the local beaches and would recommend making an online reservation for beach chairs with Auntie Snorkel. They are reasonably priced and have a convenient pickup location and hours at the Lahaina Gateway mall. If you’re reading reviews about this property, it means it is likely on your short list. So clean and comfy. And all those notes someone complained about, we found very thoughtful and helpful! The place is decorated so lovely! Has everything you could need! Take time to read the guest info book in the condo. Amy’s recommendations for places to visit was spot on! Would certainly stay here again… and would never want to leave! We rented this property based on the view and proximity to the ocean and it did not disappoint. The check in was a problem as we were given the wrong access code by the property manager and it took some doing to get the correct one. A number of emails and phone calls. The owner manager emailed us the check in process very late. So when we went to search for her instructions about check info, all we saw was a lengthy email on Rules. Rules about shoes, rules about the stove top, rules about the lock, rules about sand in the condo, rules about the towels, etc. Additionally, the condo lacked basic cooking items. Life has been very hectic this year and all we wanted was to relax. We spent the first 3 days at the Condo without leaving and had everything we needed. The location was great and near a lot of activities but we chose to spend our week just sitting on the Lanai and looked at the ocean, watched turtles swim and lots of wind surfers. It was very windy and that seemed to have everyone with a surfboard of any kind right in front of our unit. We brought binoculars and we used they everyday. If you have some bring them. If not, maybe invest in a pair. We will most definitely be back again. Thanks Amy for a great job making sure that everything was perfect. ##### Tom V. We planned our second honeymoon for our 30th wedding anniversary. The condo was perfect. It was clean and Amy was extremely helpful with little notes to help. The complex concierge helped plan our day trips. The location was great. Just far enough out to be quiet and relaxing. Also, close enough to hit the restaurants, shops, and night life. The condo is in a great location for walking and exploring around the island, we rented a car and were able to do a bit of both while we stayed there. We did have to pay for parking at the condo (only 10$/day), however, it was the only time we did have to pay for parking the whole time we were in Maui. The condo was in great condition, very clean and with lots of instructions on how to properly care for the condo while we stayed there. You can tell she truly wants her guests to have a nice stay there, she even left a few laundry detergent and dish washer pods for use while staying there. The bed was awesome, the tvs worked great, and the views were AMAZING. She tells you that you can enjoy beautiful sunsets right from your lanai porch, and she was right, we definitely even saw sea turtles out there with a great beach right in front of the condo. The kitchen was also perfect for us to make meals in, we even went to the local Maui Fish Market on our last night and made fresh ahi tuna and shrimp! Would definitely recommend this property to stay in, it was wonderful and just what we wanted! ##### Robert S. The location is easy to get to from the airport and the pictures (especially the view) are spot on. The condo is very clean and well appointed and the view is absolutely amazing. We left the windows open the entire time to enjoy the breeze and sounds of the ocean. The host was super helpful especially when we opted to extend our stay a couple of days before arriving. The pool and surrounding area is very nice. There are several very nice grills available as well. The beach leaves a bit to be desired, but we enjoyed it anyway. There are several beaches within just a few minutes drive. We ended up staying mostly on the property just to relax and shake off the Minnesota frost for our time there. There are several restaurants within walking distance and a small general store which makes being there really convenient. Lots of options for nice restaurants a short drive away (Dukes is our favorite). All in all a great condo to spend a very relaxing vacation at. ##### Nathan S. My fiancé and I booked this cozy relaxing condo for a much needed getaway. Amenities: The condo is equipped with everything you need! They even had a few Tide Pods for the washer which was super convenient. There are two TVs, one in the bedroom and main room. You you can watch Netflix or other apps. The balcony was my favorite place. It’s such a peaceful spot to enjoy coffee in the morning or a seltzer. Furniture: Beachy cozy vibes! The pillows and bed were comfy as well. There was plenty of space for seating and pull out bed if you have a larger family, Location: Great! It’s nearby Gas Station, Beaches, General Store, McDonald’s, Sushi, Brewery and not too far from other attractions. The view is stunning!
