However, I was really disappointed because a rented this place almost 5 months in advance since it showed it was PET FRIENDLY, but 3 days before my trip I received a text telling me IT WASN’T, so immediately I checked the listing and the info was the same as it was a few months ago but a few hours later they had changed it. It was really RUDE. I live in California and the process to bring a dog to Hawaii is LONG AND VERY EXPENSIVE. At that moment I had no chance to get any refund either any chance to rent another place. We specifically planned our trip around Hawaii for whale season and had booked a whale boat excursion, but had no idea that we would be able to see so many right from our own patio each day! Seriously saw at least a blow hole every 5-10 mins and breaches multiple times a day! Bedrooms are good size but very close to each other and have slate openings in doors. Probably good for air flow (especially since there is no air conditioning) but doesn't allow for much privacy, can't see anything in rooms but can hear everything...keep in mind if traveling with others. Condo complex was small which is nice but can hear everything going on outside in the pool area with windows open. Complex was quiet though after 9pm and throughout the night.
