We found that the kitchen was lacking a few items, but the staff promptly provided us with what we felt we needed. The pools are great, but we wish there was more shade at the beach pool. The hotel is currently under renovations. The noise wasn’t too noticeable, but it did take away from the beauty of the hotel gardens. The beach was nice to lay and relax on and even had a tree for shade, but it was hard to swim in because of all the rocks in the water. Our room was larger than I thought it would be. The property was beautiful. I didn’t think the concierge was very nice. She seemed grumpy every time I went up to her, and she spent a lot of time on the phone. I get the frustration she had because everything was booked to 25% capacity due to COVID. There was also a guy at the front desk. I told a women at the front desk that we had no silverware in our place. He replied with, “That’s impossible. There has to be silverware.” I didn’t like being second guessed. When we came home there was a tray of silverware that didn’t fit in any of the drawers.
