Mouse found roaming in bedroom at night.! Dinning chairs unstable /hazard of collapsing. We were booked for 3 nights but left after 2 as the terrible smell of a dead mouse coming from the air conditioner was so bad I was feeling sick. As we arrived Christmas eve, it seemed pointless contacting the property manager to have the problem fixed over Christmas as we would have been gone by the time an Electrician was available, plus the smell would have lingered another day or two after the mouse was removed. I could smell this horrid stink as soon as I put my foot in the front door so surely previous tenants and the cleaner noticed it. We couldn’t sit out the back as the chairs were too dirty and would have needed a hard scrub to remove the built up dust/dirt. On arrival there was a dirty cigarette butt in the ash tray which is off putting for non smokers and the toilet floor was dirty and had not been swept or washed. The house itself is what we expected, the location is fantastic, however the cleanliness and smell from the air-conditioner was a total let down. ##### Carolyn M.
