I booked a single private room from this guesthouse because of it's affordable price and central location. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. I wanted a private room and bathroom at a cheap price and this guesthouse fulfilled that. The room was quite small but manageable. What I really loved about this place is that there's a TV and a mini fridge in it despite being a guesthouse with a small room. Also, I'm truly grateful for the location. A lot of tourist destinations are within a walking distance. A lot of restaurants and entertainment venue just outside the guesthouse, and even the "Youth Plaza" or food street within 2 minutes walk. Cheonggyecheon stream is 5-10 minutes walk, so you can easily go there in the morning. Subway/Transportation is also a big plus since it's a minute walk from Jonggak station and 5-10 minutes walk to Jongno-3ga station which has 2 transfer lines. After going out in the morning, I can easily go back to the guesthouse to recharge my energy or change clothes if i want to and then head out again for another adventure. I find the location very convenient for touring around.
I have stayed at another guesthouse and hostel around Seoul but by far this one is the best. Other places don't offer a TV or a mini fridge or at least an extra towel, and they are even more expensive than this guesthouse. I would definitely book and stay at 24 Guesthouse again if I get a chance.

One of the best part of my recent trip to Korea was Hostel Beige. The room was soooooooooooo comfortable and hotel staff were courteous and kind. I loved the softness of the bed spread. The decors were trendy and not cheap looking.
I thought I was going to get 2 star ( mediocre) rated motel service and comfort level but I felt more comfortable here than any other 5 star hotel.s I stayed before. Its location is near 3 subway stations. 5 minutes to Dongdaemoon market on foot. Best restaurants locals hang out. Yes, the restaurants ( or eating joints) are not fancy but if you go for the taste, they have the best ones here near the hostel. The hotel price is reasonable. The airport limousine bus stop is right across the hostel. There are lots of fun street vendors. However, if you are prince and princesses, this area may not work for you but if you are visiting Korea to experience the local culture and food, this is the place to be.

We didn't have any internet connection, so finding the hotel wasn't super easy, but once we found it, we figured out that it wasn't too hard to find. The staff was amazingly helpful and always went extra steps to help us out. They printed out directions to certain areas, they helped program the GPS in our car, and were just all around friendly people.
The hotel itself is less than a 5-minute walk from the main insa-dong street. There were lots of restaurants, shops, bars, all within walking distance. The subway stop and the bus stops are both about a 10 minute walk, so it was great for day trips.
We were hoping to do street stalls for breakfast, but it rained for most of our trip, so we ended up eating breakfast at the hotel. I would recommend going for the breakfast-included reservation as it was very good and filling.
If you are traveling with family, this is also a great hotel because the rooms and very big. One room easily was able to accommodate a family with two small children.

The location is the best part although I heard from room mates that it's a bit hard to find at first as the entrance is on a road that looks more like an alley. I arranged the airport pick up for a fee and was met by the owner, who reliably waited as my plane was late and customs took a while. You can take the airport bus or use the metro. Both have stops that are quite close to this hostel.
At check in your bags are carried to your room, which is nice if you are on the higher floors.
I found the staff to be friendly and willing to please but they have difficulty with English so we had some communication short circuits. I stayed almost 2 weeks purely due to the great location. For help with sightseeing there several tourist information booths in the vicinity and I got lots of help there with along with booklets, maps and so on. This was much easier, and a better source of information, than asking the staff. Also, the main tourism office is roughly a 10 minute walk away (keep walking past the post office) and offers free 3 minute phone calls, internet and more. The entrance is below street level. There are lots of banks nearby also.
Another good thing is the free use of a washing machine. Clothes spin dry quite well. Finding places to put your clothes out to dry is another matter, but still, its nice added value. I also appreciated the hot and cold water dispensing machine available for guests. I refilled my water bottle from this frequently and had no tummy troubles

"Great hotel! Great location in the center of Seoul"
We loved the GS Hotel! We were picking up our son after he served a 2 year LDS mission in the Korea Seoul Mission. The hotel was right in the center of Seoul and close to many things we wanted to see. It's also close to the subway system. We originally booked a few night in the GS Hotel, but ended up staying there nearly the whole week. It was well worth the extra few dollars to get the breakfast. The room was clean. The hotel staff was extremely professional, friendly, and helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Seoul area.
