### Winter bliss at Middle Mountain Cottage! Minutes to ski resorts!
Year-round Adventure and Relaxation all in one place! Located in the center of Laural Highlands, 15 minutes from 7-Springs 5 minutes from Hidden Valley, minutes to several wedding venues, minutes to Flight 93 memorial, Idlewild/Soak Zone and Ohiopyle. See below for all the things to do and places to see within minutes of this owner-operated mountain getaway. Middle Mountain Cottage was fully renovated in 2022 and is a 1 ½ story house located within minutes to many year-round outdoor activities! Ten (included in the nightly rate - no extra person fees!) will sleep comfortably in beds. Nobody has to sleep on a futon or pull-out couch.
The main floor includes two private bedrooms, one with a full-size bed and one with a queen-size bed.
PLEASE NOTE: The upstairs is considered one bedroom, but there are 3 separate sleeping areas, each area having 2 single beds. Please see the photos for clarification. Kids love the upstairs!
Our guests love the huge fire pit and our 7-seat hot tub! Our cozy mountain house comes with a well-stocked kitchen and a propane grill on the back deck, if you choose to stay in for meals(although there are many restaurants within a few miles). There are 2 full bathrooms on the main floor, one with a bath/shower combo and the other with a large shower. Sheets, blankets, bath towels, hot tub towels and kitchen linens are provided. Some K-cups, creamer packets, tea bags, dish soap, dishwasher soap, shampoo, body wash, conditioner, hand soap, paper towels, toilet paper, bath tissues and laundry soap are provided to get you started.
This home is centrally located to countless things to do. Hiking trails and acres of hunting are right out the back door, where Forbes State Forest borders the back yard! A stocked trout stream is across the street with easy access just up the road.
Let Middle Mountain Cottage be your “home-base” after all your many adventures, where you can relax in the hot tub, warm up by the gas fireplace, have a foosball or darts tournament, play corn hole, or enjoy S’more making at the fire pit. If you want to stay for a week to fit in all the adventures, there is a washer and dryer for your use - No need to over-pack! The house is also equipped with a whole-house water softener and purifier for your comfort and convenience.

LIVING SPACES- propane fireplace, dining seating for 10 at 2 tables, 42” Smart TV with Amazon Firestick, plus charging station receptacles in main-floor bedrooms.
KITCHEN- gas range, dishwasher, refrigerator with ice maker, toaster, Keurig single serve coffee maker, Mr.Coffee drip coffee maker (filters supplied), Blender, Mixer, bakeware, cookware, dishes, glassware, coffee mugs, mixing bowls, utensils, kitchen tools and gadgets.
GENERAL HOUSE AMENITIES- keyless entry for front door and basement door, whole-house Air Conditioning and forced air furnace, Wi-fi, whole house water softener and purifier, 2 hair dryers, deck in back with propane grill, fire pit with hot dog forks, sandwich makers and cooking grill, 7-seat hot tub, 6' picnic table, indoor games, Corn Hole set, First Aid kit, 2 fire extinguishers, smoke detectors throughout, CO and gas detectors, luggage racks at each bed, Pack-N-Play, highchair, and Baby gate.
BASEMENT- Washer and dryer, iron and ironing board, folding table with 10 folding chairs, Foosball table, Lockable gun cabinet for our hunting guests.

Cleaning Fee - $130
Pets allowed- Fee - $50 for the whole stay- max. of 2 unless advance approval by owner. Inquire. You are responsible for any damage done by your pet(s). Please remember, even the best behaved dogs may experience anxiety when left alone at an unfamiliar place. Please either crate your dog or leave them in the basement to avoid any damage they may create.
No smoking indoors - outside is permitted but, please be courteous and place butts in the receptable provided.
No events with more guests than those staying overnight. (Maximum of 10)
Free parking for 4 cars. If more space needed, please inquire with owner. There is no street parking. The cottage is located on state route #31, which is very well maintained during the snow season.

Middle Mountain Cottage was a wonderful place for our family to use as a holiday home base while skiing the local resorts. It’s very close to Seven Springs and Hidden Valley, and an easy, scenic drive to Laurel Mountain (my favorite of the three), which made getting on the slopes simple and stress-free.The cottage itself is cozy, comfortable, and very well set up. The kitchen is well equipped for most cooking needs, the on-site laundry was extremely convenient, and the hot tub was a perfect way to unwind after a long day of skiing. We also really appreciated the thoughtful touches from the hosts, things like the s’mores station for the fire pit, nice soaps and shampoos in the bathrooms, and plenty of towels and blankets throughout the house.Our whole family, including our two dogs, had a great time and felt right at home. If I had one very minor suggestion, it would be a fence separating the backyard from the front yard, simply to discourage curious dogs from wandering toward the road, but that’s truly nitpicking.Overall, this was a fantastic stay with gracious hosts, and we would absolutely return. Highly recommended, especially for anyone planning a ski trip in the area.

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful cottage! This was our 2nd stay here. The home was absolutely spotless, cozy, and the kitchen was thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed plus all the makings for S'mores, and even a yummy apple strudel!Two beautiful bathrooms with shampoos, soaps, lotions, conditioners, hair dryer, and night lights.The location is surrounded by forests with hiking trails that literally start in the backyard! We spent our days hiking the various trails and we spent our evenings relaxing by the fire pit under the stars as well as soaking in the hot tub.The beds were very comfortable and there is a cozy deck on the back overlooking the woods for morning stretches and coffee.If you’re looking for a place to unwind, reconnect with nature, and enjoy a bit of adventure, this is it. We can’t wait to come back for our 3rd stay.Thank you Deb and Marty!

#### Wonderful stay for a weekend trip
Super clean and extremely comfortable for a large family- it has everything we needed for a great family trip. We loved all the little touches plus the kids loved the welcome basket - truly a great place to stay when visiting the ski resorts.

#### Wonderful Seven Springs Getaway Cottage
Our group had a fantastic time at this little cottage! Debra was an amazing host. The entire cottage was cozy, well equipped with everything we could need, and the hot tub was our favorite part of the house :). We are big skier's and Seven Springs was only 15-17mins away (super close!). We loved the s’mores kit they provided, but unfortunately didn’t get a chance to utilize the fire pit. That just means we will have to come back! Thanks for having us!

#### Long OverDue Family Vacation
We chose this house because of its proximity to both 7 Springs and Heavenly ski resorts--all three of my active duty guys got time off over the holiday and they wanted to ski/snowboard. Deb and Marty were wonderful in accommodating my family and our four legged babies, who the boys wanted to bring along! They hiked the mountains behind the house when they weren't skiing, they relaxed in the hot tub and played games in the basement. The kitchen had all the things mom needed to cook for the gang! Thank goodness for the little market down the road because grocery stores aren't close and I was happy that InstaCart delivered!!! The gas fireplace is so cozy and the little extras really show how much Deb and Marty put into this house! Thanks for a great trip!

#### Cute mountain retreat close to parks
Deb and Marty are wonderful hosts! They communicated before, during, and after our stay to ensure everything was satisfactory. Their mountain cottage was even better than expected - their cottage was immaculate, well-equipped, and beautifully decorated. Looking forward to a return visit!

#### Fantastic little cottage.
This beautifully updated VRBO has everything you could possibly need to stay! The owners are so attentive and kind. We were a little surprised it was on such a busy street, but traffic quiets down at night. Super location, close to Seven Springs and hiking trails. Would recommend for large groups! Easily sleeps up to 10 and again, everything you can need and more is provided.

#### Perfect mountain getaway!
Our family booked this property for our granddaughter's birthday celebration and every single one of us loved the place! The cabin was beautiful and had all of the amenities we could want. There was plenty of room for all 9 of us. The property is meticulously maintained and in a wonderful location. We used the owner provided grill every day as well as the fire pit. Deb and Marty were fantastic hosts and their helpfulness and generosity were much appreciated. We will definitely stay here again!

#### Amazing house and host!
Debra really went above and beyond to accommodate a last minute get away. The check in was so easy and the house was amazing. Debra really thought of everything to make the stay enjoyable. Traveling with a 9 year old, 2 year old and 6month old can be tricky but Debra even made easy with having a high chair and pack n play ready and available! I highly recommend this place for location as well, it's minutes from anywhere you want to be while you stay in seven springs!

We had an amazing time & the cottage was adorable. It exceeded our expectations. The hosts were so nice & accommodating. The cabin was super cute, clean, well stocked kitchen, and the hot tub was awesome! We slept 8 very comfortably and the upstairs sleeping area was great. Highly recommend.

#### Beautiful house in the highlands!
We loved the house. It is decorated so nice. It has everything you need in the kitchen. We enjoyed the fire pit. We had mountain pies and S’mores. It is so nice to not have to bring towels and linens. Deb and Marty answered any questions that we had and we enjoyed meeting them. I would recommend staying here. The hot tub is a nice touch.

#### MMC for the win!
We arrived to have a note from Deb welcoming us and also pastry and a s’mores box filled!! My 10yo son, his 1yo puppy and myself had a cold but adventurous few days in PA at the immaculately clean, organized, well stocked MMC. Deb and Marty went over and beyond in their design and well thought out amenities to make the cottage have everything for a more than comfortable stay. Deb was seamless in communicating and accommodated us with our needs for a “late” check out. Marty built us an amazing fire to enjoy s’mores on a chilly night under the stars. Close to many things to do all year round. Thanks Marty and Deb

Had a great weekend stay at the cottage! The space was nice and clean with a well stocked kitchen with everything you need to cook. Hot tub was a bonus with plenty of towels. The location was perfect for our ski weekend being only 5 minutes away from hidden valley and 15 from seven springs. We will definitely be back next year!
