The luxury villa has a kitchen with a dishwasher and washing machine, living/dining room, 2 bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms upstairs and downstairs cloakroom. It has been refurbished to a very high standard with luxury furnishings, Cable TV/DVD player with ceiling fans and full air-conditioning in all rooms. A library of books & DVD's. Balcony with waterfront views, driveway for a golf cart or car. Villa is equipped with smoke detectors. The villa is fully air conditioned , but please try to respect that electricity is very expensive. The new units cool the villa very quickly so there is no need to keep them on all day. The hot water is an on demand unit. Jolly Beach is a glorious long stretch of white sand, completely uncrowded, with large variety of water sports.Bodog Restaurant is right on the beach, & open all day & evening. There are restaurants, bars, shops, pharmacy, tennis & squash courts, gym & large swimming pool at the marina. The large supermarket supplies everything you could need for your holiday. Car hire and golf carts are available to rent. Villa Cleaning: Our housekeeper will meet you at the villa upon your arrival to see you are settled in. If additional cleaning service is required during longer stays a charge of U$ 60.00 per instance will be charged. Note: Villa is self catering which means paper towels, toilet paper, dishwasher soap, basic essentials are provided as a starter pack. Once used, guests will need to replenish. Villa Property Management Company: Our property management company can arrange a taxi to pick you up at the airport for a nominal fee of $60 We would be more than happy to assist you upon your booking. I have my own personal golf cart available for rent at U$25/day. No children are to drive the cart and the renter is responsible for any damage incurred. The fuel is full on beginning of rental and the same is expected at the end. It has been brought to our attention that if you do rent a car, you must register the vehicle with the complex's CDAL Security Office located in the Commercial Centre within the complex. There is a charge of $10 US, subject to change, to register the vehicle. CDAL Security is not open on the weekends, but is open Mon-Fri from 9 am to 4 pm. This is an added security feature to the overall complex. Deck and Finger Pier: We have added a deck and finger pier built onto the patio, which makes the whole area double the size. The decking lets you sunbathe for longer into the evening, and has lights set into the deck for evening use.The finger pier allows you to fish further out or use for mooring a boat. The extended deck and finger pier were just redone to it's natural wood finish, flower/plant pots added as well as additional sunbeds. Recently we added a new patio set with 6 chairs to enjoy al fresco dining on the veranda. A propane BBQ is also available. Detail Payment terms and conditions: GBP/US Cheques will be accepted, however we require payment 10 weeks before arrival. Payments can be accepted in US Dollars by wire transfer 25% non refundable deposit required to secure reservation - balance due 10 weeks before arrival. Rental rates include all persons up to 2 and all utilities including air conditioning. Additional people over 2 guests will add U$100/ or £75 per week to the rental cost. Water rates on average are 40% higher as well as our electricity rate are 30% due to fuel costs. All we ask is to conserve by shutting off the air conditioning and lights when you are not in the villa and conserving water usage. We appreciate your cooperation which in turn allows us to keep our current rates in place. Same day arrivals and departures - Departures will be 10:00 am. Arrivals check in is 4:00 p.m. You will be notified if this applies to your booking. Our housekeeping team does a thorough 'spring clean' for our guests. Our departure clean takes them approximately 5 hours to prepare the villa for our next arriving guests. You can appreciate that our cleaners have other villas to clean, especially during High Season as well as departures and arrivals occur more on Fridays, . Most of our guests now are paying for the day so they have full use of Villa Emerald Dreams prior to their departure vs. having to move luggage, etc. to another villa. If you intend to rent a boat during your stay, we can accommodate boats up to 30 ft with the extended dock/pier. There are numerous marine facilities that can assist with rentals, just let us know if you have an interest and we can provide the information. There will be an additional daily charge of $20 US for water, if required for boat cleaning, etc. Just let us know and we can arrange through our property management company to gain access to the water supply. We are unable to supply shore power. If you are reviewing other villas within the Jolly Harbour Community, if not noted ask owners where their villa is located. Villas located in the South Finger are within closer walking distance to all facilities, especially the mile long Jolly Beach vs. rentals in the North Finger of the complex. Antigua Government Pandemic approved. He was very efficient and responsive and I expressed a few concerns about the update of the villa based on previous reviews and he gave me assurances that the villa is in a very good condition with new furnishings but that he hadnt updated the pics on the ad so I proceeded with the booking. The check in process was seamless, the property manager Stacey was very nice and ensured that I could check in as agreed with no issues. She was very kind throughout the process and a pleasure to deal with. Unfortunately, when I arrived at the villa I was underwhelmed at first sight. There is a few large cracks running through the kitchen and lounge floor and the fridge freezer had extensive rust and damage inside and outside the appliance and the microwave could only work with a piece of string that you had to pull in a specific way. The travel cot that I received which Paul agreed to provide (i appreciate that this isn’t a prerequisite for anyone to have) was very old and dirty and I could not put my baby in it. I mentioned these things to Paul and instead of a reasonable response, he was instantly defensive and quite rude. He mentioned that the rusty fridge is not a hygiene issue which I refuted as rust is a breeding ground for bacteria. Stacey however understood my issues and explained that they had these things on order but they hadn’t arrived yet which made sense and she apologised unlike the host. Great location ##### Charisma J. This listing promoted luxurious accommodations that were not factual. For one, the furnishings are super dated. The couch as an example might have been great in 2016 (where most of these reviews were posted) but in 2022…seriously a beat couch. The same goes for the entire Villa. Perhaps years ago the owners spent money in making this place seems “luxurious “ but after years of wear - wow does it show. To add to the false advertisement, the cleaning by the property management company was sub par. So much so that dust was clearly visible (as if it was never swept) and we found several dead cockroaches. Adding to the cockroaches, we also saw several live scurrying throughout the kitchen when we came home from dinner. Will add, we never cooked in the Villa due to the cockroaches. May I also add, this place offers in their description cable…yeah, that’s a lie. We had Netflix that we never used due to the 11 burnt in dots into the older style TV that didn’t allow us to watch a clear screen. I mean, but a new TV. Also, and this may be part of the cleanliness, when we arrived - I had to turn the water on to each toilet. Leads me to believe no one recently is renting this place. On the somewhat upside, the outside patio is nice and pleasant (others have posted similar experiences). The location to Jolly Beach and Commercial Center (as others have posted) is accurate. However the overall cleanliness, advertised amenities, and “luxurious” accommodations are false. We would not recommend this Villa to those considering. ##### Andrew D. We loved the location on the South Finger of Jolly Harbor which allowed us to walk to restaurants and to the beach in no time. The view from the villa is wonderful (from both the living room area and the master bedroom). For a family of 4 it worked great for us as our daughters had their own bedroom and bath. The kitchen is well equipped and the furnishings are very comfortable. Communication with the owner and the property manager was easy. We are grateful that we were allowed to leave a few hours later when we found out our flight had been delayed. We highly recommend this villa and we hope to return one day. ##### Liliana C. It is a 3 minute walk to the best beach on the island with beach restaurant and local beach bar as well. There are lounge chairs and umbrellas available on the beach. The owner has a golf cart which can be rented for your stay which is super fun and allows you to get to the grocery store and the shops and restaurants in the gated harbor community with less than a 5 minute toodle. The villa is super well kept and nicely decorated. Everything you need is already there, like home away from home. We have stayed all over the Caribbean and this was our favorite vacation ever. Relaxing at the villa with the views of the houses across the finger, the super yachts, and the boats going by the end of the inlet was absolutely lovely and relaxing. We thank the owners so much for letting us stay in their beautiful home and for making sure we had everything we needed. The representative was super helpful with any questions we had and in recommending places to eat and assisting in making taxi reservations. She had the golf cart there and filled up when we arrived so we could go off to the grocery store and get our supplies. Overall a 5 star vacation!! ##### Brenda D. The verandah at the back was particularly lovely in the mornings and the walk to the beach was 2 minutes. The convenience of the setting was matched by the relaxed nature of the Development. The welcome package was much appreciated and the bedrooms were the right size for us.....we all slept well. There are bars and restaurants nearby so you don't need to travel at night if you don't want to and have a few drinks too. It's well-appointed. We were 4 adults sharing the space and we had lots of room to lounge on patio etc. Easy 5min walk to the beach. First time at Jolly Harbour complex, would definitely come again. Having a golf cart made getting around a breeze. Highly recommend to reserve golf cart right away. The owners are prompt in answering any questions or concerns, well organized and we couldn't be happier. We'd love to visit again! We stayed at Villa Emerald Dreams. It was our fourth time in the island; each time staying at a different villa as we look into reviews prior to booking. Each villa appears to be all similar in design/layout. Villa Emerald Dreams was exceptional. The furnishings and decor reflect good taste. The beds were comfortable, all rooms were very clean. Each room had its own air conditioning unit, and having a WiFi is a bonus. It also helps that there is a washer in the villa.There was plenty of supplies, from fresh bath and beach towels to kitchen utensils, pots, pans, even citronella for outside when hanging out on the patio or deck where we spent a lot of time enjoying the views, stargazing, even listening to some live local bands from a nearby restaurant, while having our drinks. The beautiful jolly beach is a five minute walk from the villa. A buggy is necessary to get around, especially when going to the supermarket and you have to carry those heavy jugs of water back to the villa. Thanks to TT villas for being there when we needed them. We were lucky with the dates that we picked; weather was perfect, not too hot, and we had some cool evenings. We were very satisfied with our stay at Villa Emerald Dreams. Would highly recommend it and would stay here again. ##### Deogracia H. The Villa is right on the waterfront and within a few minutes walk of the Beach and has everything you could need in a holiday home. Jolly Harbour is quiet and safe and there are several good restaurants. All within ea Villa Emerald Dreams provides everything necessary for a comfortable and enjoyable stay on the beautiful island of Antigua. The villa itself is situated in a quiet and very pretty part of the Jolly Harbour marina complex and is only a short walk from attractive sandy beaches. Jolly Harbour provides a range of shops, bars a supermarket and a pharmacy with staff who are polite and ready to assist. On arrive at the villa we were met by a member of the villa management company and provided with all the necessary help and information needed to make our stay as pleasant as possible. A small welcome pack with tea, coffee, milk, fruits juice and a bottle of wine was also a nice touch. The location of the villa and deck area into the lagoon at the south facing rear of the premises means that you can easily spend time relaxing and sunbathing if you decide to stay in for the day. We spent many a happy time fishing and eating al fresco. If you hire a car, there is off road parking at the front of the villa and many places to visit within a short driving distance from Jolly Harbour. There is always something going on and some fantastic restaurants are available if you enjoy eating out. Jolly Harbour is a useful pick up and drop off point for many of the island boat trips or safari experiences which are highly recommended. We highly rate villa Emerald Dreams and can assure anyone considering a rental that they will not be disappointed ##### Yvonne C. ### 10/10 – Excellent #### linda m. 8 août 2016 #### Emerald Dreams was immaculately presented and fully equipped for an enjoyable 2 week stay. The descriptions on the internet were accurate for Emerald Dreams and its surroundings. The property and its surrounds were spotless when we arrived and we quickly settled down for our holiday. Some of the nearby properties were needing upgrading but it was clear to see that the owners of Emerald Dreams had invested heavily in keeping theirs in A1 condition. A couple of unexpected issues occurred during our time there but the owners were superb in ensuring matters were sorted out expeditiously. I would certainly recommend the property to friends or relatives. The beach was fantastic and only 3-4 minutes away on foot. Miracles restaurant,situated just out of the complex, offered good food and service at a reasonable price. Avoid Castaways on the beach as it is vastly overpriced. Recommend the Taxi company the owners arranged for our transfer from the airport. ##### linda m.
